The park behind it is what to see in this area. Went for Covid testing and this brought us to this area. The park behind it is really serene and has sculptures and benches. When in use as a post office, it is post office.

This has been temporarily converted into a Covid testing site. This landmark has been cleared of all the postal history and I am sure it will go back after the pandemic. Now it is a centrally located testing site. You wait in the shade by Queen Elizabeth park, near the library. Go in, they have all your information and you are in and out in 5 minutes. A fast and efficient process. Who says a Post Office can't be used for the public good during a health emergency. Good job Bermuda.

A delightful trip back to the days before email and mailing cards and letters requiring. Postage stamp. Of course we had to mail postcards to our grandchildren so we went to the post office for stamps. It was a trip back in time to the friendly post office of your childhood post office.

The post office is not just a place to post your postcards and letters. This is a slice of history; right next to the park and the museum this is a wonderful place to pop in and see beautiful old Bermuda cedar and they do special editions of stamps which is a great gift and also great for collectors. Often missed but shouldnt be. It will only take you 5 minutes to see but is well worth a visit if you havent been before

Loved the place and the history associated with it. The coat of arms for Perot's family is on display. It is a working post office and sell the current stamps. If you collect stamps, I would recommend GPO Philatelic Bureau as they would have more selection.

The lady in the post office was delightful and chatted about the history, etc. She was kind to cancel our post cards with the special "Perot Post Office" cancellation stamp. You can pick free post cards from there. I think they are from Bermuda Postal authority. You need about 30 minutes for this place.

No entry fee and it is right next to Front Street, Elizabeth Park and Hamilton Ferry Terminal.

Pleasant staff, free post cards (limited selection), and they offer special stamp sets and first day covers for those interested in philately.

Quaint little post office, worth visiting to buy some stamps for your postcards home, and step back a couple of hundred years in time. Kudos to BPO for maintaining this working, historic site so well.

Courteous and helpful front counter service (but don't tell the Bermuda Industrial Union or their members will be admonished for breach of Industrial Policy).

My friend went into the post office around 4:30 to buy some stamps and I waited for her in the nearby park, and waited, and waited. I figured there must be a long line. WRONG. She had gotten into a conversation with the clerk, Debbie, which lasted 20 minutes, during which time Debbie told her about some sights to see, complete with written directions to them. This happens a lot in Bermuda. The people are very engaging.

We loved this little, operational post office right in the center of the commercial district. It is very authentic--and colorful Bermudian stamps make a great souvenir!

This is an historical post office, and worth 5 to 10 min. of your time, but only if you are walking around Hamilton and happen to be in the area. Do not make a special trip just for this location, as is only worth a few minutes of your time. You can do this in combination with the library and the historical society, as they are all next to each other.
