I love a good museum and this place had a lot of potential, but several places we encountered non-functioning equipment (speakers, exhibits, etc.) I did love the shell room and the Bermuda triangle exhibit though. The elevator/diving ship 'ride' is very underwhelming. It is one of those places I'd recommend for a rainy day.

Dear 302madeleinep, Thank you for your feedback and for the positive reviews of our shell room and Bermuda Triangle exhibit. Our Blue Echo dive is popular with young people but may not be as exciting for some. We apologize if you encountered anything that wasn’t functioning properly on the day. We welcome the opportunity to further discuss your experience as we are fully committed to improving visitor experiences and it helps us to personally receive specific feedback on exhibits. Thank you very much, The BUEI Team

Great place about marine history of island and theories of Bermuda Triangle. Perfect for families and teens. Has many artifacts from ship wrecks, tons of shells, lots of interactive displays. Down several blocks from ferry dock, yellow one story building

The location is on the water with limited parking but lots of restaurants near by.
Most of us really enjoyed the experience but our 5- year old grandson was frightened with the simulation of going underwater and my wife felt claustrophobic. Fortunately, there was a door to exit.
Nevertheless, the rest of us liked the exhibit.

Very poor customer service. Our planned tour as part of a special Bermuda visit was cancelled by email at less than 24 hours notice with very little by way of reasonable explanation "captain says tomorrow is not suitable"!
This despite an excellent week's weather including the day booked, lots of sightings of pods close to shore & many other tours operating.

This is a hands on interactive museum for all ages. From the history of underwater diving, America’s cup exhibit, Bermuda Triangle, and relics from shipwrecks there is so much to see. Did I mention the have a very large sea shell collection from around the world.

We spent a rainy Sunday afternoon at the BUEI. It was good fun and fairly informative and much better than getting wet in the rain. The only drawback is that they do not have a cafeteria so we had to venture out in the rain to get a meal after our visit.

This place is a wonderful experience. Has a Disney quality ride to the depths of the ocean and a simulated shark cage to give the feeing of a shark cage. Restaurant with excellent food and an equal view and ambiance. View ship wrecks and what has been removed and is now on display in the building. Could have spent the day there..
