We had a great food tour with Nakia (company owner and tour guide). From jerk chicken, to pulled pork, fish sandwiches, apple crumb cake.....the list went on and on. Each stop had delicious food and a great story behind how these hidden gems came to market. Nakia provides the perfect mix of local delicacies. We ended the tour at Casey’s for some relaxing drinks. I highly recommend Sip & Savor for large groups. We were a family of 18 and the opinion was unanimous; we all had a wonderful day.

We had a great time with Kiki. We ate a variety of food and a couple of sweets. She also took us to Casey's lounge which was our last stop for Bermuda Rum Swizzle. My personal favorite was Bermuda Cedar drink. We visited the first food truck in Hamilton and the Fish cake sandwich we had there was amazingly delicious and I am not a fish fan usually. Book this tour you will have a great educational tasty tour!

My friend and I booked the Sip and Savor food tour in Bermuda while our cruise ship was docked there for a couple of days. We booked directly with the tour and not through the cruise ship. We had a great time and ATE SO MUCH FOOD and left nicely...shall we say....toasty. :-) We were the only two people on the tour that day, so walking around with Nakia felt more like hanging out with a friend than being on an impersonal tour. The tour is light on Bermuda history and culture and focused more on sampling food from various places. Some places were more modern or simple fare like gourmet french fries or doughnuts or ice cream, even chili and cornbread (some of the best chili and cornbread I've had, and I'm from SC!). Other foods were more traditional local foods like fish stew, conch stew, fish cake, wahoo, shark hash, and Rum Swizzles (yes, plural!). Listing it out sounds like a lot of fish, but it didn't feel that way. Even my friend who is not a big fan of fish loved all of our dishes. It has been a couple of months since we went, but if memory serves, we visited probably 10 different places. The tour was scheduled for 2.5 hours or so, but we had so much fun hanging out at Casey's Bar at the end, that we stayed an extra hour or so. This tour is an amazing value for the price! I've paid the same price for two other US food tours and only sampled 4 or 5 different foods and none included alcoholic beverages. We had so much food and drink with Nakia; I don't know how she turns a profit, but I hope she gets lots and lots of business and tips because it's well-deserved.

Took the ferry in from Dockyards and were met in front of the Ferry bldg in Hamilton, promptly at our agreed time, by Nakia. We started our tour directing traffic on the busy Main Street, (see pics) and learning local history and tradition right away. No need to rush across the street, Bermudians are polite and friendly, just stroll. They’re just honking to say hello! We visited 8 different businesses, sampling specialties at each. We had chili & cornbread, seasoned fries, Fish chowder, conch chowder, fish cakes, hot cross buns, donuts, small batch ice creams in unusual flavors, (ginger & beet was our favorite) sushi, and several local drink specialties. We met all the owners and hung out with them at each stop. While walking around, we were also given local history, stopped in several non food locations and overall had the best day imaginable. I can’t say enough about this tour. We met Nakia as strangers and left as friends. We are now honorary Bermudians and can’t wait to go back. Try to schedule this at the beginning of your visit. You’ll want to go back to places you visit and many places you didn’t. Planning a return visit soon!
