About
BERMUDA PRESERVED. Eco Jewelry highlighting the many facets of Bermuda's unique biological treasures. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ANYTIME! Blending the edges of nature into all things, La Garza borrows its aesthetic from the land, pink sand and sea of Bermuda. Unique fashion and home decor draw inspiration and incorporate materials from the famous Atlantic island and her surrounding seas. From the northern apex of the triangle, pink sand, coral clusters, shells, fish fins, crab claws, driftwood, sea ceramics, endemic trees, flowers and island leaves find their way into unique upcycled and reimagined creations. We support fair trade and sustainable practices in production and we are almost always cruelty free, never harvesting, only finding (with the exception of Lionfish). 5%-15% of some purchases is donated to relevant charities in an attempt to ensure the protection of Bermuda's environment and inspire awareness within Bermuda's cultural and social fabric. Custom orders and St. George's to Hamilton deliveries available!

La Garza is not on the main shopping streets (yet -- plan to move), but it is worth a walk to the old Coal House. Very interesting environmentally friendly jewelry. Artist was very pleasant to talk to.

I stopped in here and the lady in the shop was very knowledgable and helpful. The designs are truly pieces of Bermuda with all of it sourced from items from the sea. I admire the creativity that inspired jewelry from basically random stuff that washed up on the beach! It's really cool! The Lionfish earrings were great, especially since it's a fabulous use for this noxious and invasive species.

The fan coral is picked up after storms, so it is non-harvested coral that they then craft into beautiful necklaces and earrings. These pieces are so unique. The girl who had done the work was helpful.

The ladies at La Garza are trip savers. We had a failure in our transportation arrangement and were stuck at the ferry dock. The lady at La Garza supported us with her cell phone and saved the day for us. While we were waiting I had the opportunity to look around the shop. It is a truly amazing collection of handmade, original pieces of jewelry and accessories. La Garza is a must see when your visit St. George and say hello to the folks who work there.

We spent a long time talking to the girls that work there. They shared a lot of useful information about the island and gave us great insider info!
The jewelry is unlike anything I've ever seen. The sand jewelry was amazing but the lion fish and corals were out of this world!
A must see when you're in St. George's if you're looking for things made in Bermuda.
