La Garza is not on the main shopping streets (yet -- plan to move), but it is worth a walk to the old Coal House. Very interesting environmentally friendly jewelry. Artist was very pleasant to talk to.

The fan coral is picked up after storms, so it is non-harvested coral that they then craft into beautiful necklaces and earrings. These pieces are so unique. The girl who had done the work was helpful.

The ladies at La Garza are trip savers. We had a failure in our transportation arrangement and were stuck at the ferry dock. The lady at La Garza supported us with her cell phone and saved the day for us. While we were waiting I had the opportunity to look around the shop. It is a truly amazing collection of handmade, original pieces of jewelry and accessories. La Garza is a must see when your visit St. George and say hello to the folks who work there.…

We spent a long time talking to the girls that work there. They shared a lot of useful information about the island and gave us great insider info! The jewelry is unlike anything I've ever seen. The sand jewelry was amazing but the lion fish and corals were out of this world! A must see when you're in St. George's if you're looking for things made in Bermuda.…

I stopped in here and the lady in the shop was very knowledgable and helpful. The designs are truly pieces of Bermuda with all of it sourced from items from the sea. I admire the creativity that inspired jewelry from basically random stuff that washed up on the beach! It's really cool! The Lionfish earrings were great, especially since it's a fabulous use for this noxious and invasive species. …
