It is a sheltered beach with rocky outcrops for snorkelling especially at high tide although even at low tide parrot fish and moray eels are around. Nice beach - water shallow so great for children. Went for snorkeling but this water was to shallow. Did see fish, would be good for someone learning to snorkel. Food and chairs available but is not very clean:((

We spent several hours at Tobacco Bay. We rented lounge chairs and snorkeling equipment at reasonable rates and all was in good condition. There was a snack bar, a place to rinse the sand off your feet and clean restrooms. The snorkeling was fun and easy as there was plenty to see and the water was calm and shallow. Would... More

Tobacco Bay was a great place for myself and other sailors to visit while in St George, Bermuda. While there we swam the shallow bay, danced, enjoyed the music, and views. Locals and tourists hangout here.

This is a small cove beach in St. George. Has a bar, facilities and most of the cove is about waist deep. Great snorkeling, can dive of certain rock formations. Can rent umbrellas and chairs. 2nd favorite beach!!

Beach was OK. Much smaller than we expected and crowded. You are hemmed in by rocks so really no where to go to get away, unless you walk up the hill and around. Stay away from the shuttle from St George. what a rip off. Goes to show you if you don't ask. $7 per person (We were 6) for... More

This beach is small and very nice. It is kind of hidden in the back area and we had to walk from the bus stop there. It's only about a 15 minute walk so it's not bad. It has food and drinks and music. The waiter doesn't come around often on the beach area so you have to go to... More

The beach is quite small. It might hold 50 or so people. But the lagoon has a wide variety of fish and makes for great snorkeling. There is a small beach bar with a variety of drinks and basic beach food available (hot dogs/burgers). There is equipment available for rental. A small changing room with showers and toilets is also... More
