The beach is quite charming and welcoming. The rocks create an amazing background for your pictures, Water is very shallow that makes for a great spot for the kids. Not so much if you are an adult and like swimming. There are many fish for snorkelers. Nothing crazy, but will keep you entertained while at the beach. I dont think... More

Recently went to Bermuda on a cruise and took a ferry over to St. George. I was pleasantly surprised with the city of St. George as well as Tobacco bay. At first we started walking toward the unfinished church (recommend walking there, it's a cool site to see) and saw signs that pointed toward the beach. Not knowing exactly what... More

Second time here. Great spot for snorkelling, sun bathing and just hanging out. Travelled to St. George's from dock yard and then a shuttle to the bay. Beautiful day snorkelling. Changing rooms and toilets. Cold drinks. If you can, pack your lunch, as a hot dog was $9. Live music and friendly, great staff.

Beach itself was beautiful....but considering all the hype, disappointing...very crowded with lounge chairs, So much so you could barely see the beach or enjoy it for fear getting stepped on. Over priced snack bar, " restaurant"

We took a bus from Hamilton and walked down to Tabacco Bay. This is a great gem! The restaurant on it had a small food menu but the prices are great for the location and knowing how much more they can charge for. The Bay is just stunning. When we went, it was windy and cool so I didn't snorkel... More

The beach was small and uncrowded. The snorkeling was great with great fish and coral. The staff was friendly and the drinks weren't as expensively as I expected.

Found this beach area while wandering St. George...probably the 90s music coming out of the snack shack that drew my attention. I went on a weekday and had about a handful on the beach. Can get busy during weekend as this is a nice secluded area and a good place to bring family as it is somewhat enclosed.

Tobacco Bay is really a small cove with a small beach that is very beautiful and relaxing. There's a small store there that sells refreshments and they have a patio area where you can enjoy the view.
