We left from the dock at the Naval shipyard and took a short trip to a great little swimming in snorkeling area. Then we sailed back to the dock. The rum swizzles and dark and stormies on board were a definite pleasant addition to the trip. We were on the good vibrations catamaran. The entire crew was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. This was one of the best shore excursions we did on our Viking cruise.

We did two of their day tours, snorkeling on a catamaran and also glass bottom boat over a ship wreck. Both tours were fun, informative and the crew of both boats were great fun. Locals who were very interesting and engaging with us

We went on the tour with Captain Kirk’s 6/24/22 while on a cruise with family. The tour was great. The boat was docked a short walk from where our cruise ship was located. The captain and crew were knowledgeable and friendly.

They give you a history lesson of the island and a quick snorkeling lesson and you are in the water.

The catamaran takes you to a local reef with plenty of sea life to watch. It was raining so the water wasn’t super clear but it was still a fun time. The snorkeling was not very difficult and getting on and off the boat was easy. There were a few cliffs that were accessible for cliff jumping.

Once you are done snorkeling they crew offers free rum swizzles and other beverages. If we are ever back in Bermuda we would definitely take the tour again!

My wife and I took the cruise on February 23, so this was an off-season experience. There were about 20 of us on board the cruise that left from the Dockyard at 1:30 p.m. We assembled at the Island Tour Center near the ferry terminal.at 1:15 and then walked over to the ship. We began up on deck and Jesse gave us a great introduction to the harbor and the island as we sailed out into the Great Sound and then under Watford Bridge to the coral reef site. We moved to the lower deck, gathered around the glass bottom area, and Josh described the scene there, before we went on to the the sunken ship site nearby and saw many fish. Jesse and Josh did a great job -- interesting and fun. The free rum swizzle was a nice touch on the ride back to the Dockyard. This cruise is a great introduction to the island. You can see virtually all of the north shore of the island from the bay and you get a good sense of the protective reef that surrounds Bermuda.

I am sorry to write this, but in the first minutes lining up to get on board, the gentleman told us "Whatever the name of the glass bottom boat tour you signed up for, this is it." It was a deflating comment right from the start.

The tour guides seemed more interested in talking about their lives in Bermuda than discussing the Bermuda Triangle, which was the tour I signed up for through the recommendation of Trip Advisor.

In addition, there were too many people for us all to sit on the upper deck, and Zoe only addressed the people there. For those of us on the lower deck, we were not given an opportunity to ask questions or answer them. The only time we were addressed is when we arrived at the HMS Vixen. They told us to move over and make sure the people from the upper deck could see the glass bottom.

Obviously, we would have moved over, but it felt as though the only guests who mattered were those on the upper deck.

They are both capable boat captains and know Bermuda, but they seem bored with what they are doing and not capable of making people on both decks feel included. I certainly would have asked questions about the Bermuda triangle because I can't imagine anyone cared about whether or not they are dating.

We were fortunate to have beautiful weather and a nice evening out, and the crew members were fine, but I wish I did sign up for the other tour names he was alluding to, and maybe I would not have felt disappointed.

1) They take you to another spot where no other excursion takes you
2) The hosts are hilarious
3) You get the history of the shipwrecks you're seeing
4) Not far from shore, a LOT of wildlife
5) Drinks on board!
6) You can jump off the boat into the water as many times as you like!
7) Pool noodles if you don't want vests

The shipwrecks are cool but honestly, you'll be so distracted by the wildlife, you probably won't even care. This is way different than the other excursions. Weather was perfect!! Josh is great.

1- We book our trip through The Princess Hotel Concierge and they highly recommended this trip. We had a couple of rainy days before so this was the first chance for my wife and my self to really see the island.

2-We were welcomed on the deck just beside Royal Dockyard by Ned who guided us to the boat. And then Zoe came to the upper dock and started to navigate the boat out of the dockyard!! Yes Zoe is the only female captain in Bermuda! she is a licensed boat captain and she is GOOD.

3- The trip is 1:30 hours the first 30 minute is spent on the way to the shipwreck area were we had the chance to watch the local turtles coming to surface for a quick breath before they run deep ( THEY ARE FAST SO KEEP YOUR PHONES OR CAMERAS READY). During this time Ned gave us a funny and enjoyable history of the island and the different aspects of living on it! He was very informative.

4- We then moved to the HMS Vex Shipwreck and had to go inside the boat to enjoy the glass bottom scene. For me it was breathtaking. You will have many chances to take pictures so try to save some time to really enjoy the moment and stay away from your black mirrors aka PHONES.

5- On the way back, we were served the traditional Bermudian rum with pineapple, which was very tasty and took a quite cruise back to the Dockyard enjoying the warm sun and cold breeze of the ocean.

I would highly recommend this tour specifically for people who dont have a lot of time in the island and for those who have kids they will love looking for Dory from Finding Nemo!!

Before we even got on the boat, it was explained to us that the seas were a little rough so we would only be snorkeling at one location, but would still go to the shipwreck & feed the fishes at the first stop. Anyone wishing to get a refund (a handful of people accepted), got one. However, I didn't find the waters to be that rough at the shipwreck. However, it would have been pretty awesome if we had been able to get in the water there because the fish went absolutely bonkers when we through bread into the water!

That abbreviated stop meant more time at location #2, and it more than made up for it. Being close to land, the waters were quite calm & clear enough to see all the fish in the 9-20 feet of water. We saw quite a few parrot fish, blue tang, and even a cow fish. Someone spotted a lion fish (invasive species) so the captain swam out with a spear & skewered it. It was enormous! And on his way back to the boat, he spotted a spiny lobster so he used a lasso to snare it & bring it back to the boat too! It was amazing to see these creatures up close.

Lastly, the swizzles available during the trip back to the port are NOT free, but are more than reasonable at $3 per cup.

If we ever go back to Bermuda--and there's a good chance we will--we would definitely go on this excursion again.

Recently cruised to Bermuda and booked this tour, although the gentlemen on the boat were pleasant and entertaining the area they took us was way too shallow. I have snorkeled before and this was definitely the worst experience I have had. At certain spots I had to get up and walk because it was too shallow. Many large rock also hindered my swimming and at least 2 people on the boat needed bandaids from the barnacles on the rocks which we were warned about but they were hard to avoid. I also understand these gentlemen are out to make money and who isn't but I feel too many people on the tour and in the water at the same time kicking up sand and making it hard to see, I only saw one tiny fish. The glass bottom portion of the boat was also disappointing, they ended up throwing bread off the side of the boat and a bunch of fish came to eat it. gray plain fish, not pretty tropical fish. Sorry gentlemen but this was a big rip off.

We went for the nighttime glass bottom boat ride on our last night in Bermuda. We had heard good things about it from other people on our cruise and thought it might be fun to give it a try.
We boarded the Coral Prince at the Boatyard. Our guide was Zoey and our captain Sonny. The Coral Princess was very comfortable. It was easy to get on and off of, I have some mobility issues and sometimes walk with a cane. There were ample seating and REAL toilets in the two bathrooms, a rarity. The ride was very smooth and there were two large glass windows with which to watch the fish.
The tour starts with fun info about the area, interesting sights are pointed out. There's an absolutely magnificent view of the sunset. We felt very fortunate to have Zoey as our guide. She was very knowledgeable, personable and funny. She did an excellent job fielding questions about the island and made a fine Swizzle. There was a bar at the lower level with free Swizzles. I don't remember the ingredients but the drink was excellent.
The highlights of the tour, besides the amazing sunset view, was watching all the fish gather when we turned on the spotlights. There were so many fish to see through the glass windows at the bottom of the boat. It was like they were swarming!
We also saw the wreck of The Vixen, an almost hilariously ill-fated warship from England. Zoey kept us entertained with stories about its history.
This cruise was one of the surprise highlights of our trip to Bermuda and we recommend it strongly.
