My family and I had a wonderful time recently with Captain Mike and crew. Mike was super personal and got us immediately on the fish. We caught about a dozen different types of reef fish and the 3 of us each caught at least 10 or more fish. Their dock is super convenient to the Cruise boats as you can walk. We were comparing off-shore vs. reef fishing and this allowed us to fish in the morning and still have the afternoon free. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I spent 1/2 day fishing with Captain Michael and his mate Dave. We met a couple on our cruise who were interested in joining us so we wound up with 4 of us and had a great time. Captain Michael and Dave were both so personable and helpful, and found the perfect fishing spot! We couldn't catch the fish fast enough! I would highly recommend chartering "Ellen B" for a great fishing adventure!

Captain Michael and Andrew 8.30am this morning took us on an extraordinary reef fishing trip. 4 adults, one child, had the best 4 hours. Both Captain Michael and Andrew Baxter looked after us in an amazing fishing journey. Smooth journey to the reefs, very comfortable boat, we enjoyed it so much.... and we so learned how to fish... properly. Totally recommend you use Bermuda Reef Fishing. Not more fancy, but totally the best we have found around our global trips. Exceptional value. We very impressed with their requirements of fishing responsibility.

Our family just went out with Baxter Reef fishing and we had a wonderful time, they were so patient with our family of 4. We brought home the maximum amount of Snapper you could catch and had one of our best fishing experiences with them. They were so fun and thoughtful. I highly recommend going out with this Charter Boat, they are amazing......

How much fun is that! Captain Mike and Andrew are great! Two of us for about 5 hours and we had to catch at least 25 fish! A few keepers - even two for dinner that night! Very knowledgeable and just genuinely nice people as well.
We went about 3-4 miles out on very calm seas. The boat has a Bimini top that kept the sun off of us, as we were pretty much just standing there “reeling them in” all day! They’re so good - we even caught two fish on one hook!
Bring a few beers, your best boat shoes and strengthen up those wrists and forearms! You’re going to need it! Will definitely book again when we return!
Thank you both Captain and Andrew!

We had a very nice day on the water with Michael and Andrew. We are a family of 4 incl 2 teens. We had booked a 1/2 day trip which was 4 hours. We started at pier 41 at 0900 hrs. The weather was beautiful and so was the hospitality, service and not least the fishing. We caught so many fish that Michael and Andrew could take home. Our own Andrew helped fillet and we brought back to our hotel as had for dinner. It was a very good experience. Thank you and the best recommendations from here.

My 14 year old granddaughter and I spent a wonderful several hours with Captain Mike and his son Andrew. They could not have been more gracious, knowledgeable and helpful. It was definitely the highlight of our vacation! I would not hesitate to use their services again.

We traveled to Bermuda in October (apologies for just getting around to the review). We could not have had a better time. The captain and his son were knowledgeable and professional. At the same time, they were kind and patient with my family and myself. We had a ton of action and caught enough for an amazing lunch which they set up for us. I would recommend them to anyone who asked. We will be back!

We were looking to go fishing in Bermuda but did not necessarily want to go deep sea fishing nor did we want to even greater cost to do so. I searched around and found either this or the Jolly Roger as options. I emailed the Jolly Roger outfit but did not even get a reply. I conversed with Micheal via email and found a time that worked for us. The crew, Michael and his son, were helpful, collegial, caring and provided good conversation and historical perspectives on Bermuda. They clearly wanted us to enjoy our trip.We were a group of six, 3 adults and three children: 17, 12 and 6. I think we had an atypical experience in that we caught almost 25 fish between us in 4 hours. We kept about and 15 and after the were filleted we took them to a local restaurant and ate our fresh catch. Overall we had a blast!

We have been on numerous cruises to numerous islands and done many "shore excursions". I wanted to find something unique to do with our family while in Bermuda this time. Baxter's Reef Fishing sounded like it fit the bill. We are always somewhat nervous when booking something not through the cruise lines but this fishing trip was the most memorable thing we have ever done. Our teenage sons had a blast. We caught tons of fish and relocated to different fishing areas 2-3 times. Captain Mike and First mate Andrew treated us like family and showed us a great time. There were 5 of us as well as another family of 4 on the boat. Andrew filleted our fish on the back of the boat as we watched and then gave them to us in a bag for the Country Squire Restaurant to cook. They fried 1/2, broiled the other 1/2, served them with fries and cole slaw for $12/pp. The meal was delicious. Don't hesitate in booking this! When we finished at the restaurant, we ended up with a taxi driver, Kip. He asked us what we had been doing. When we told him, he said he knew Mr Baxter because being a crew member on their boat was the first job he had at age 15. He expressed his fondness for Mr Baxter and what a great guy he was. Everything that day was PERFECT.
