Just so everyone knows, you will see zero to very little pink sand on “Pink Sand” beach. It’s a nice beach, but during May the pink sand is further north on 17 mile beach accessible only by a small boat. Take that trip, trust me and go see my review of that beach. From Oct-Jan the entire beach is pink up there near Frigate Bird sanctuary

if you do love empty caribbean beaches with turquise waters this is your place. On top small shells make this beach pink. not every day the pink hue is the same. it depends whether the sea is depositing or teaching away the shells

It's a quiet beach with a bar. And you can find a horse riding spot there. I payed 20$ for 30 min per person with my wife. Was fun.

I visited Barbuda for just one day with ferry from Antigua. Barbuda is still under construction after a hurricane Irma. I spent one hour on the Pink Sand Beach because it’s close to the ferry terminal, so I walked there along the beach. The sand it’s really pink and that’s amazing to see, but swimming there is not so nice because was a lot of sea weeds.

I have never seen a beach so empty in the entire Caribbean. Mostly because of the secluded nature of this island is it less visited. The beach is beautiful and long as hell so the chances of running into someone here is low. The island itself is different from the others in the windward leeward chain. Less inhabitants and less tourist traps in fact none. you can rent a car from a local and you wont find a friendlier bunch. hit the caves and hike at the north end or go see one of the largest frigate estuary's in the world but definitely go for a romantic walk on the beach you wont find this anywhere else.

Too windy for us to stay that day, but on a calm day you could be quite content I'm sure. A couple of beach restaurants serving beer and limited menus. The sand is, upon close inspection, broken coral, truly pink.

The beach was nice but I was very disappointing it wasn't pink. No one told us before our trip that pink colour is seasonal

If you really want a pink sand beach, check out Barbuda Belle. Have a nice lunch at the hotel (prices a reasonable for lunch) and enjoy a real pink sand beach to yourself and a completely flat water!

The beach was not overly pink but you could definitely see the broken pink shells/sand so I'm sure it's a matter of timing for deeper color or not. We did eat at John's as we were doing a tour with him and had lobster on the beach. This is an all around great experience though the lobster was a bit dry for some in our group, the portion was huge and lots of sides. Excellent way to spend a day if visiting Barbuda.

Yes the beaches on Barbuda really are pink. And there are virtually no hotels or tourists there. There were a couple of swanky resorts but they were all closed when I was there, I don't know why. I liked having the place to myself with no other footprints in the sand but mine!
