My husband and I dove across 3 days and every dive was thrilling, interesting, and safe. The entire crew, including Sue, Rudolph, and Eric are awesome - knowledgeable (Sue has 20+ years of science teaching experience), funny, witty, and laid back. The wreck and reef dives were incredible.

Jads is one of the most professional dive organizations that I have ever dove with. I’ve made over 700 dives in all parts of the world and would put Sue and her fantastic crew up with any of the best companies that I have dove with. This is the only company in Aruba that I will dive with.

There is a reason why JADS is the number one dive company in Aruba. Value, service, safety, and fun are just some of the words that come to mind. Did eight dives with them over Labor Day week. Each one was a different experience. Sue and Rudolph point out and identify small and large creatures throughout the dives. Octopus, Morays, nurse shark, lion fish, turtles, underwater wrecks artificial and natural reefs make photography a great way to collect memories. Jiar our captain was always there to safety drop and pick us up without delay. JP the owner was so gracious and accommodating when transportation was necessary or a case of urgent care was needed. We are indebted to their friendly service. The crew changes over your tanks and ensures all you need to think about is dive dive dive. The people of Aruba need our help to stay One Happy Island. Covid has not been good to many businesses. Pls consider tipping. I would like to educate divers on tipping the boat crew. While I understand the customs of Europe and England of not tipping, I feel that the service that the majority of dive boats provide warrant a small tip but not just “stiffing” the crew. Tipping guidelines are based on a number of factors: How much did your dive cost? Diving prices are going to range depending on the area and your location. As a generalization, a good rule of thumb to consider is to tip $5USD to $10USD per dive (per tank). When you break that down that is roughly leaving a tip of 10 to 20 percent based on the service provided. A simple rule of thumb is to consider tipping your guide, the boat crew, tank handlers, and any other staff that helps you during your diving experience. Often in-water staff and boat captains share tips, as shops and operators split gratuities between all staff. Don’t forget that staff may be doing tasks that aren’t readily seen such as filling tanks, arranging for special excursions, or rinsing your gear at the end of the day. Those people may not be on the boat with you.

This is the second time diving with Jad's. As before a wonderful experience. Last time in January we did the couples discovery scuba with Rudolf as our instructor and had such a good time I planned to go for my open water certification on this trip which I did. Eric was my instructor and he did an awesome job of taking me through skills and the dives, as well as making sure that I was competent and confident when I was done. Afterwards my wife and our friends went on a discovery scuba dive with Eric leading us. He did a wonderful job with everyone making sure everyone was ready and safe to go and comfortable on the dive. The photos were great too. Thanks to Eric, Sue, and everyone at Jads for another awesome diving experience!
