I wrote a glowing review a couple of years ago. In February 2020 I have been very disappointed with some changes. We used to love the daily bingo, which appears to have been discontinued, at least for the time being? Seeing the locals, and especially some of the more elder women play bingo was a highlight of our visit. I hope that Bingo will return to the Casino and it will bring back some of the crowds that once attended there.

We went to this casino after the Hyatt. It was filled with people playing bingo - just random tables in between slot machines- a lot smaller than the other casinos in the area.

We enjoy going to casinos and have been to many from New York to Las Vegas, but this casino was not enjoyable at all. The atmosphere in the casino was dreary and there was nothing exciting going on. We stayed for 1/2 hour and went back to the Hyatt casino.

Dealers will play favorites at the poker table. The manager is basically la familia so clearly one player doesn't stand a chance when it comes to casino discretion. Who knows what the X factor is, local vs non-local? The floor was asked to make a judgement call at the poker table yet he didn't. After the game broke he repeated what the dealer said.

In yet another display of un-equal treatment of guest when I became irate the preferred player began to threaten me. Not once but four times, the staff didnt say a word to him. The threats were heard by all the other players and staff yet not one word was said to the person making threats. Call it discrimination, neputism, racism... whatever you like but clearly they treat people how they feel not fairly or with respect.

Also played at the Ritz on this trip. Theres an example of how to run a casino. Not the case at the Aruba Hilton. Its not only amateur hour its clear why they only have 1 full table for 2-3 hours. Definitely WONT play poker here ever again.

I am a Diamond member with Hilton when my wife and I come to Aruba we stay here. The beach is nice the staff are great. It is very close to restaurants more than 20 with in 200 yards of the hotel along with gift shops and shopping. The location is great no need to leave the area except for sight seeing tours. Most tours will pick you up at the hotel.
Try Azia across the street for outstanding Asian food, Daniels Steak house is great. Dunkin Donuts is a short walk up the beach. There is a small Greek Restaurant next to DD that has great food.
You will not be disappointed in choosing this hotel location is second to none.

This poker room is a joke. I went there because I was told that that’s where the PLO game is going to be. This is my 4th time in Aruba and I’m in Aruba for a week and I’ve been playing poker at the Excelsior which is great and they know how to treat people. Anyway, I get to the Hilton Poker room and they are opening a must move 2-5 Hold’em game, so I buy in $200 and I sit down. Not one hand is dealt yet when the guy that’s running the poker room comes to the table to tell us the rules of the room, standard rules except when he says “If you’re winning you can’t just leave you have to play at least 2 hours “. WHAT!!! Yes, people you heard that right, I can’t leave when I’m winning only when I’m loosing!! I thought I misunderstood what he’s saying so I asked him to repeat it. And he did. When I expressed my discontent he proceeded to tell me that “ you have two options, either play with those rules or go somewhere else and play”. I said no I’m playing but you can’t tell me when I can leave, this is not a basement game this a Hilton casino, that’s is bad business my friend, and I’d like to see you enforce that rule if and when I decide to leave with my winnings. (Mind you I don’t hit and run, I’m on vacation and I’m here to have a good time, not to be insulted), Anyway, he then tells the dealer not to deal me in and I have no action. To which I gladly got up and left. It took a lot of me not to cuss him out but I’m in the casino business my self (27 years) and I know how to act, and when you’re an A$$&$%e it all comes back to where you work cause the casino business is pretty small. I garauntee you that I will never step foot in to that casino, EVER!! Hell, the bad beat at the Exelxior is 15K and it’s only 5,000 at the Hilton. I sincerely hope everyone reading follows suit. Believe me, when I get back home I will send a letter to the appropriate people so they are aware of what’s happening at the property cause that is just not right.

When we booked it was the Radisson and I booked using Club Carlson points. When we arrived the staff was very helpful and explained that it had just changed to the Hilton. No issues, beautiful complex, friendly staff, casino on-site and very many restaurants in walking distance.

This particular Casino is rather small and has a lot to be desired. It smells of smoke and there is really not anyone smoking. The tables are rarely open and the staff doesn’t even look interested. If you are staying at the Hilton, this a great spot to check out but its not something that’s a must do.

We played the 2 cent machines and won over $1200. We went back each day without the same luck. Casino is better than any others around that area.
