Husband and I took a 2 hour private snorkeling trip. My husband is nervous in the ocean and the captain really went above and beyond talking him through it and calming him down so he could enjoy the experience. He also took us to locations based on what we wanted to see and gave accurate advice on where to swim. Since it was just the two of us the snorkeling experience felt very intimate. I especially loved cruising around with the turtles. And he was really easy to talk to and give us some good local recommendations. Would definitely recommend if you're more interested in the snorkeling than the bloody mary bar 🙂.

What an amazing day! My husband and I wanted a private snorkeling tour and we booked with Private Snorkeling Aruba. It was better than we expected!! We met Michele at the dock as instructed and he took us to 3 sites… Boca Catalina, The Shipwreck and Malmok Beach. Boca Catalina was like swimming in an aquarium. There were tons of tropical fish. The shipwreck was fantastic and something that I never thought I’d ever see in person. Malmok Beach had sea turtles and starfish!!
Michele the captain was so friendly! He answered all of our questions and provided us with bottles of water. We will definitely be back next year and will tell all of our friends who frequent Aruba about Private Snorkeling Aruba!

I had a great trip today with captain Michel! We were a group of 5 adults and had a 3 hour trip. The boat arrived on time and we left for the first snorkel stop called Boca Catalina. He chose a nice spot for us where it wasn't crowded with other boats. At this place we saw many beautiful fish and the captain threw some food into the water so that we could see the fish from the boat. This was really amazing to see! The next snorkel stop was the Antilla Shipwreck. Michel told us the history of this place which was very interesting! We were able to swim with turtles here and admire the sunken ship. The last snorkel stop was Malmok. This snorkel stop was really beautiful and we were able to see beautiful sea urchins and especially many different fish. We definitely recommend Private Snorkeling! The drinks kept flowing and we felt more than welcome on board. The next time we visit Aruba, we will definitely book with this company again!

Maybe my expectations were too high, but when booking a private snorkling trip I expected a little more customization and pizazz. The guide was pretty lack luster, boat slowly coasted, had to ask several times for music. We went to 3 spots which were great-along with all the other big tours-but again would have liked to feel a little more customized for the the money we were spending. It checked the boxes but didn’t have a WOW factor in anyway.

Hello Megan, Thank you for the review. We do a tour (so not full throttle) to the north of the island to show you the coastline and go snorkeling there. You can play your own music with Bluetooth via your phone, so you can make your own party on the boat. Hopefully we can welcome you again on your next visit to Aruba. Greetings, Team Private Snorkeling Aruba

By far the best snorkeling adventure we had in a long time. Professional guide and captain of the private snorkling boat Michel showed us the best snorkeling spots of Aruba and made sure to steer clear of the big tourist spots. When cruising the ocean Michel told us about Aruban culture, the history of the island and a few secret spots to visit. Everything you need is on board and the snorkeling equipment is of high quality. In short, you get so much value for your money, choosing private snorkeling is a no-brainer!

This was first private boat snorkeling trip
and it won’t be our last.
Pros:
Great clean new boat with plenty of room for the 3 of us plus the captain. Could easily do 6 comfortably.
Captain Michal was really cool. The first thing I asked him is if we could skip the ship wreck spot and if he could take us to a place that most don’t see and he said no problem and took us to the northern most point and we explored an incredible reef and even saw a huge sea turtle.
The sea scooters are cool but not necessary. My son and I just took turns on the one they had.
Cons:
Only one. It’s definitely pricey. A two hour trip for 3 was $350 but…. you get what you pay for and would book it again.
FYI this is NOT a booze cruise type trip there are plenty of those and those are fun too but this is not that trip.

Hello Dennis, Thank you so much for the great review. You can indeed decide with the captain where you want to go for snorkeling and for how long. The price is more expensive due to the sea scooters that can be booked optionally. Hopefully we can welcome you again on your next visit to Aruba. Greetings, Team Private Snorkeling Aruba

We had the best time with Michele snorkeling today! My son and I have snorkeled a fair bit, but were with two first timers. He started us at a calm area to get them comfortable, then we went to a shipwreck, then finished by seagrass where turtles feed. It was so much better being on our own boat instead of one of the big ones. We were able to go at our own pace. We saw a huge puffer fish, lots of colorful fish and 2 turtles and he told us a bit about the North part of the island. The best choice to snorkel! 🐟🐡🐠

Private snorkeling redefines the meaning of a private trip. We (a couple, thirties) have done a lot of private boats, diving and snorkeling trips all over the world. But this one stands out by far!

Never before we’ve seen so many beautiful fish species this close to the beach.

Captain Michel is not only a professional on the Sea, but he also acts as a great host. Providing delicious included drinks, sharing his knowledge about the Aruban waters, and most important: making sure to stop at great snorkeling spots before the big charters arrive. You can have your choice if you want two or three stops.
We recommend the three stops. This trip is truly worth your money!!

My wife wanted to do this trip, I did not because I thought we could drive to the places they were taking us. I learned that the Arashi reef is kind of a far swim from shore, and the boat makes it a lot easier. We also saw Malmok which is right off the shore, but we put in at the rocky parts off shore that I would have likely avoided. And we also saw the Pedernales and watched turtles swimming at the surface. I learned that the Arashi reef alone is pretty amazing and worth the trip, because I know that the "party boat" snorkeling tours like the Dolphin don't go there. The boat was comfortable and Michel was a good guide. I highly recommend spending a little extra, especially if you are a small group, and taking a private tour. We will be doing it again the next time we want to take a boat out snorkeling in Aruba.

Hello BaltimoreFats, Thanks for your extensive review! Funny to read that you did the trip because your wife wanted to do it and it's even more fun to know that you liked it so much. For some places, like the Arashi reef and Pedernales, it can be hard to find if you do it by yourself from the shore and/or it will be a far swim from shore. I'm happy to read that you thought the boat was comfortable and the guid was good. Hopefully we can welcome you again when you're on Aruba. Greetings, Team Private Snorkeling Aruba

Could not ask for a better trip and captain. Private snorkel is the only way to go. Michele was amazing, deck boat was slow and calm- perfect for even people who get boat sick. Took us to perfect snorkel areas and gave great instructions.
Absolutely no better choice, and the bonus was that the price was unbelievably reasonable for a private trip for 3
We will definitely be doing this again
