Book at www.privatesnorkeling.com With us you can rent your own private boat with an experienced captain, we do private and semi-private snorkeling and private boat tours. You will be enjoying the beautiful sea on a 26 ft Bayliner deck boat. Go with your whole family, group of friends, acquaintances, or even with your neighbors on this private boat for an even more exclusive experience. (No crowds) Standard trips are 2 hours, but you can extend them by half an hour or more. You can go snorkeling in different places, but also just swim, relax or enjoy the beautiful nature from the boat. You can view different beaches such as Palm Beach, Eagle Beach, Arashi Beach, Malmok, Boca cathalina or one of the largest shipwrecks or view Aruba with the private boat

By far the best snorkeling adventure we had in a long time. Professional guide and captain of the private snorkling boat Michel showed us the best snorkeling spots of Aruba and made sure to steer clear of the big tourist spots. When cruising the ocean Michel told us about Aruban culture, the history of the island and a few secret spots to visit. Everything you need is on board and the snorkeling equipment is of high quality. In short, you get so much value for your money, choosing private snorkeling is a no-brainer!

My wife wanted to do this trip, I did not because I thought we could drive to the places they were taking us. I learned that the Arashi reef is kind of a far swim from shore, and the boat makes it a lot easier. We also saw Malmok which is right off the shore, but we put in at the rocky parts off shore that I would have likely avoided. And we also saw the Pedernales and watched turtles swimming at the surface. I learned that the Arashi reef alone is pretty amazing and worth the trip, because I know that the "party boat" snorkeling tours like the Dolphin don't go there. The boat was comfortable and Michel was a good guide. I highly recommend spending a little extra, especially if you are a small group, and taking a private tour. We will be doing it again the next time we want to take a boat out snorkeling in Aruba.

Funny to read that you did the trip because your wife wanted to do it and it's even more fun to know that you liked it so much. For some places, like the Arashi reef and Pedernales, it can be hard to find if you do it by yourself from the shore and/or it will be a far swim from shore. I'm happy to read that you thought the boat was comfortable and the guid was good.

This was the second time our group has done this and again, it doesn't disappoint! Michel made the experience for the returning 4 as good as 3 years ago and for the 3 new people with us, made it easy for them to get their faces in the water on this first cruise stop as they were fairly inexperience snorkelers. We had done the wreck and were leaving at the time all the larger boats with many people arrived. The second wreck we didn't even know existed so it was fun to see. When in Aruba again, we will definitely do this!

Private snorkeling redefines the meaning of a private trip. We (a couple, thirties) have done a lot of private boats, diving and snorkeling trips all over the world. But this one stands out by far!
Never before we’ve seen so many beautiful fish species this close to the beach.
Captain Michel is not only a professional on the Sea, but he also acts as a great host. Providing delicious included drinks, sharing his knowledge about the Aruban waters, and most important: making sure to stop at great snorkeling spots before the big charters arrive. You can have your choice if you want two or three stops.
We recommend the three stops. This trip is truly worth your money!!

We had the best time with Michele snorkeling today! My son and I have snorkeled a fair bit, but were with two first timers. He started us at a calm area to get them comfortable, then we went to a shipwreck, then finished by seagrass where turtles feed. It was so much better being on our own boat instead of one of the big ones. We were able to go at our own pace. We saw a huge puffer fish, lots of colorful fish and 2 turtles and he told us a bit about the North part of the island. The best choice to snorkel! 🐟🐡🐠

Maybe my expectations were too high, but when booking a private snorkling trip I expected a little more customization and pizazz. The guide was pretty lack luster, boat slowly coasted, had to ask several times for music. We went to 3 spots which were great-along with all the other big tours-but again would have liked to feel a little more customized for the the money we were spending. It checked the boxes but didn’t have a WOW factor in anyway.

We do a tour (so not full throttle) to the north of the island to show you the coastline and go snorkeling there. You can play your own music with Bluetooth via your phone, so you can make your own party on the boat.

With the unknowns of going snorkeling with a group we opted for a private trip for our family of 4. We were picked right in front of our hotel and greeted by a great captain Michel who made certain we had everything we need and was very knowledgeable at every stop. From sea turtles to schools of squid and all the standard reef fish it was a great 3 hours. We were so impressed by the service and incredible value provided we returned 3 days later to do it again. Our second trip was timed perfectly as we were the only boat at each stop!! Would highly recommend and will return.

Could not ask for a better trip and captain. Private snorkel is the only way to go. Michele was amazing, deck boat was slow and calm- perfect for even people who get boat sick. Took us to perfect snorkel areas and gave great instructions.
Absolutely no better choice, and the bonus was that the price was unbelievably reasonable for a private trip for 3

Booked this trip for 4 family members since we prefer smaller outings. Michel (which I probably spelled wrong) was the best captain. He took us to 3 different snorkel locations and made sure we arrived just ahead of the other groups. We saw so many different colored fish, large schools and even turtles. He also made sure we had all the rum punch we wanted. Highly recommend this tour!

What an amazing day! My husband and I wanted a private snorkeling tour and we booked with Private Snorkeling Aruba. It was better than we expected!! We met Michele at the dock as instructed and he took us to 3 sites… Boca Catalina, The Shipwreck and Malmok Beach. Boca Catalina was like swimming in an aquarium. There were tons of tropical fish. The shipwreck was fantastic and something that I never thought I’d ever see in person. Malmok Beach had sea turtles and starfish!!
Michele the captain was so friendly! He answered all of our questions and provided us with bottles of water. We will definitely be back next year and will tell all of our friends who frequent Aruba about Private Snorkeling Aruba!

How rough is the shipwreck compared to Eagles Beach? Is it always the same or do the conditions change as the weather does?

We snorkeled here today. I had read about it being rough, but didn't find it bad at all. It was a little rougher that closer to shore. I am a strong swimmer, but was with 2 people who are not. Our captain dropped us off so we could follow the current and he picked us up on the other side of the shipwreck. It was perfect.

You should know how to swim! He will provide life vests and flippers but you need to be able to get around once in the water.

It would help I think, but the guide had life/swim vests so you could concentrate on seeing the amazing sea creatures and not get tired out by treading water and swimming.

I think just tell them Moombs Beach pier and that you’re going to meet someone at the pier. It will be just a short walk/steps for you likely and it is very easy to find.

Hello, we booked this with Capt Rene. My young kids will be fine but I assume since this isn't a large boat that if you are inclined to get sick on rollercoasters (for example) that dramamine is in order? I imagine by the wreck that the boat starts rocking quote a bit? Thanks for any insight!

The day we were there it was rough at the wreck. My opinion would be if you tend to get seasick you should take the Dramamine as its better to be safe than sorry. Its a beautiful trip and would be sad to be sick the entire time.
