The drive to the lighthouse and the view from the base is the real treat here. The lighthouse is under construction and the base is not too eventful

If you want to see Aruba, visit the California Lighthouse. There are several very nice beaches that you can stop at on the way there and nice places to eat on the way back to your resort or vacation home. The nice "treats" truck offers frozen snacks and other things to drink. A fun and relaxing distraction while you get... More

This lighthouse is located on a very beautiful part of the island. The coastal scenery is amazing. There is also a restaurant very near to it.

We visited the lighthouse but there's really not much to do other than to look around and maybe buy some coconut water from some guy hanging out there. If you've never been then maybe go for 15 minutes just to say you've been there.

This was the first stop on our Bus Tour. Very historical. It is currently under some reconstructive work but not to be missed..and the view is amazing from here.

So we stopped here on a tour. Did not stay long enough for a picture. So we had to drive back. Very nice. They are renovating it this year for its 100 yr anniversary. We stopped to see the restaurant there. Very nice. Italian food served. We did not try . Prices were in line with the island. And the... More

Northern tip of the island and easy to get to by car or bus. It is under construction and is worth seeing if you have done everything else to do on the island.

The California lighthouse is very scenic, but besides the view and picture opportunity, there is not much to see... I recommend to go there using one of the Segway tours, it is a fun ride
