We took this cruise booked by our hotel Bucuti & Tara. We are throughly pleased and so happy we went. Everything was so easy from the pickup at our hotel in a great old colorful school bus with no windows to getting quickly on the boat with no hassle or delay. The entire crew was so friendly and helpful and met our every need. The snorkeling was fun, with clear vision and so entertaining. One person on the boat had never snorkeled before but the crew made it great for her as she was able to hold on to a life support ring pulled by the main guide. Everyone had a great time. Later many of us took the opportunity to jump off the boat in the rope swing. The guide handling this was so helpful and made absolutely sure we were safe and understood how to do if safely. The food was excellent and the drinks as plentiful as we wanted. If I come back, this tour will definitely be on the top of my list to repeat. The boat was really very cool and had plenty of seating in the shade and in the sun for everyone.

My wife and I (in our 30s) rented the small private boat- the Pelicanito- for a two hour snorkeling/ private boat ride. It was just us and our driver, which gave us the flexibility to pick where we went/ how much time we spent at different areas, etc. The driver was great, really friendly and easy going. The boat is comparable to a water ski speed boat- much smaller than the catamarans that take the large groups out, but a perfect setup for a couple/ small group/ family that wants a private experience. Booking and checking in were all super easy, and the pier is walkable from all the major resorts on this part of the island.

I had a pleasure taking part in this half day tour. It was very much fun once I got picked up by a blue Pelican bus. The bus has no windows which gives a unique, jeep like experience since the day was hot. Once arrived to the headquarters we change intro a proper covered AC jeep. James was one man orchestra- he was our guide and driver and photographer of the day, patiently explaining us everything and accompanying us to all spots. That kind of the person you wish to have on your tours. I’d you take a morning tour you will have a lunch included and you can choose between few options in advance. Meal was delicious and rich. I ended up skipping my dinner later as still felt full. Highly recommended and thank you for a lovely day spent.

The hosts on the boat were great. They were friendly, communicated well, made us welcome. The problem though there were very few fish at the first sight and in fact pretty boring. The second sight the water was very rough and very choppy, water murky. I’m surprised the crew let guests go in the water. I saw fellow guests struggling in the water. This sight was a total waste of time and not safe. The final sight was just as bad. No fish and just a lot of time wasted. I requested a vegetarian meal and got plain dry rice and a couple of strands of broccolini. My husband says the seafood paella was good. The champagne was disgusting. Open bar, loud music , enticed by offers of 3 stops, mimosa breakfast are just a farce to get you aboard. If you really want a snorkel trip this is a totally miss

This excursion was amazing!!! The guides were fun & informative. 2 of the 3 stops were beginner snorkeling friendly. If you aren’t a strong swimmer like myself, I wouldn’t recommend swimming at the 2nd stop. Even some of the stronger swimmers stated it was a bit difficult. I heard the view of the ship wreck was amazing though. Food and drinks were pretty decent too. Overall it’s an amazing experience!

Despite the cloudy weather it was very enjoyable. Safe and courteous, fun crew lead by Lizzie. We got to a little bit of a late start but the crew played some fun music and had everyone dancing by the end of the night. We felt very safe and comfortable the whole time.

What a horrible company. They first tell us they have to cancel our tour we first booked because there was not enough people. Then we book another tour, go to the hotel to get picked up and they didn't even verify before we left the pick up spot that the tour we had paid for was not the tour they had. Not only did they screw my trip, they screwed my daughters and at least 4 other parties of people. I do not recommend this place as they waited until we got to the office to inform us that the tour we had paid for and wanted along with the 4 other parties. There was only one party there for the actual tour that they signed everyone up for. What did they think would make up for what they did, they give us a stupid $150 gift certificate to eat at a restaurant. Because apparently food replaces going to places that i will never be able to go again. Then they think that coming here and offering to work with a different vendor to get another tour would be sufficient but it wasn't. EVEN though we have no other time to do it, as we have stated numerous times. They do not like to listen they just keep repeating the same stupid "i apologize and i understand" which is not true its just what every customer agent is suppose to say. If they would have fixed it for all the parties to go on the tour that they had paid for, and not waste peoples time with bringing them all to the main office to find out that what they paid for was not there. 2 of the ladies paid right prior to getting on the bus....but again it apparently wasn't available so how were they able to book it? To top it all off one of the ladies from the front has the audacity to show up here and then to even look at me. Definitely not a place to book with. Horrible customer service.....and they didn't even make up for what they did. Food doesn't replace seeing sights like the natural pool that my mother can not get to any. other way. Thanks pelican tours for ruining my trip. I am truly disgusted with your company and will make sure I spread the word about how horrible of a company this is!!!! I have plenty of family that comes down. Word of mouth spreads fast.

I'm truly sorry for the disruption and disappointment you experienced during your tour booking process. We genuinely wanted to make amends for our mistake and tried various ways to compensate, such as offering a different tour, a free lunch, and even attempting to reschedule your excursion with another company. It deeply saddens us to hear that our efforts fell short of providing the resolution you deserved. I would highly recommend going on a sunset cruise on the Pelican Too. The crew was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The bartender made the most delicious drinks, the sunset was beautiful & the music got everyone dancing after sundown. It was so much fun. I would definitely go back again.

We purchased the champagne brunch/snorkeling experience on one of their catamarans. We have done this type of excursion before but had a unique experience when a storm rolled in after our first snorkeling stop. I was happy when they declared they needed to go in with the lightning for safety reasons. They gave all customers 3 options due to weather which I think is above and beyond. Rebook for another day (which we did), 50% cash refund, or credit good for 365 days. The next day they took sale with only 20 (out of probably 100 the day before) and we had an amazing time. Staff was fantastic and I wish they gave me business cards. Julio, Mac, Francis, Anderson and more from the first day that I cant remember. Great trip! Highly recommend.

The catamaran brunch cruise was easily the highlight of our trip! Fun for the whole family (especially if you have older kids since there is an open bar!). Great music, friendly guides, and we loved the “trampolines” at the front of the boat- relaxing, fun, and even a little informational. Trip featured breakfast (three kinda of pastries & coffee), lunch (seafood pállela & potato salad), dessert (fruit skewers), sea turtle sightings, and a variety of snorkel stops. Definitely recommend wearing sunscreen and if you bring a hat or sunglasses, hold on tight!!

Yes, it was just a few feet from exiting the ship. We took a fantastic entertaining trip around the island to their private beach for about an hour, than we came back.

It refers to the Scuba line with a regulator that you can breath air from a scuba tank that is onboard. You can stay down without having to resurface for air. I personally tried it and I can say the line is not super long and you have to fight floating but it enhances your scuba experience.

I would assume that it depends on the season. If you are going in high season I would book it as soon as you know otherwise I’m sure it’s fine to wait especially if your plans are flexible

It is windy in Aruba and the 1st part we went to was awesome in about 15 feet of water but because it was super windy on the second stop I did not get out it was really choppy. My husband even said so and they warned everyone to start at one point and work your way back due to the winds. I would say no for a 9 yr old

I do not know how much they would charge because I did a sunset cruise, but they are easy to find. Their pier is located between the Playa Linda and Holiday Inn directly on the beach.
