Well we visited this port on a Sunday so a lot of shops were shut. The place is nice but why they close when they know curise ships will be in and peple will spend money is rather confusing. Anyway it saved some money. But...More

Lots of souvenirs from cool to junk. Due to proximity to cruise ship docks the place is teeming with shops offering just about everything. Sadly almost nothing is locally made. Prices are OK and folks are friendly. Lovely architecture in the area.

Right across from the cruise port is another place to spend money. It has a little bit of everything. It felt very clean and people were very friendly.

On our visit to Aruba, we were advised to visit the main town on a day when there were no cruise ships in dock as the prices were more reasonable and shops not as crowded, so we did just that. In this rather interesting mall...More

This mall was disappointing. There were some empty storefronts and some stores even closed. What was open was your typical tourist junk. We walked into one jewelry store across the street and the sales lady did nothing but complain about a couple who had just...More

We walked thru after our guided walking tour of Oranjestad. Lots of stores and small eateries. Some very high end stores and some cheap souvenir shops. We were looking for a place that sold stamps so we could mail postcards but never could find one....More

This plaza is perfect for shopping. Good variety including Cariloha Bamboo. Also has shade and places to sit and rest.

Not really sure - most places seem to open around 10:00 am and close between 5 and 8 pm. If there is a cruise ship in port they will be open as long as people are still in town. Many stores close to observe Jewish holidays... More

We usually shop there at 10 am when most of the shops are open. I believe the shops close at 5:00 or 5:30 but may remain open longer when a ship is not due to leave until later in the evening. However Mondays are slow... More
