Fred is a wonderful man that sang his heart out. The smile on my wifes face was ear to ear. Thank you for your wonderful performance, we had a great time and will come back with our friends next time around. We are huge Sinatra fans , there is only one Sinatra and Fred does his best to honor his memory and he is good at it. If the night was rated with smiles he gets a 100. If you did not like his show , you probably don't like yourself .. GREAT JOB and Thank you

Impersonator was very good. If you close your eyes, you would think you were listening to Sinatra on an album/cd. He sang some special requests as well as a medley for the better part of 2 hours. Well worth the money. We had dinner before we got to the Old Cunucu House. Wish now, that we would have eaten there as the food looked very good. Good time if you are a Sinatra fan.

My husband and I went to hear the Sinatra dinner show at Cunucu old house. We loved it and the singer is so friendly and can't do enough to make it a memorable evening. There were only 2 other tables there which surprised me. The food was excellent and I loved all the great Frank Sinatra songs. He has a great voice!! I was there with my husband. I feel this is an adult show. I do not think my teen age kids would of liked it at all just because they would not of known the songs. If you are in Aruba on a Thursday evening do not miss it. Something fun and different and definitely worth $15 a person plus dinner.

The Old Cunucu House was okay and Fred has a nice voice but he is NOT anything like Sinatra! We are big Sinatra fans and enjoy his music so it was nice to hear his songs but Fred has some kind of a Norwegian accent that Frank never had! There were only 8 people at the show and we were a group of four. Fred is very nice and came to talk to everyone when he took his breaks and even sang a song we requested. All in all it was an ok evening. Always happy to hear Sinatra songs but would have preferred a recording.

Dear Valued Guests, I am very sorry that I was not anything like Sinatra for you and I have some kind of a Norwegian accent that Frank never had, but till now we did almost one hundred fifty (150) shows in the past three (3) years and most people enjoyed it very much. There were only eight (8) people that night, but on Aruba September is a very low season. I am very thankful for any review. I am always happy to hear what people really think about my show. What I can advise people who would like to visit my show, is to visit my YouTube channel and watch and listen to my videos first. You can find it by searching on "Fred de Jong". And if you still like what you see, then I will be very happy to welcome you into my show and I will do my utmost best to make my show worthwhile for you. Thankful regards, Fred de Jong

We attended the show on April 2, 2015. It was my wife and I and just one other couple as it was the eve of Good Friday and most vacationers were probably not in Aruba that week and the locals were preparing for Good Friday. Didn't matter as Fred De Jong gave a fabulous performance and actually we appreciated the personal attention we received considering it was just my wife and I and one other couple. It was 2 hours and 30 minutes worth of fabulous Sinatra music. Fred provided background to a lot of the music and in between songs was very personable and friendly. We took a personal photo with him (he does this at all of his shows apparently) and enjoyed the delicious Old Cunucu House's local Aruban styled food while enjoying the show. He was open to requests and really sang Sinatra's songs beautifully. It was the perfect timing as Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday was coming up and it was 3 days before the big HBO documentary aired about Frank Sinatra's life. Fred put us in the Sinatra mood and sang up a storm. Highly recommend taking one night out of a vacation in Aruba to attend this wonderful dinner show!

My Girl friend is a huge Sinatra fan. When I ask her “what it would take for you to marry me”? she replied “you would have to get Frank Sinatra to sing fly me to the moon to me”. So I asked “isn’t he dead” and she said “Exactly”. She set the bar high! I had been looking at impersonators and tribute artist for some time. Many try to sound like the studio recordings of Frank but I needed to find one that could pull off being a live Frank. I ran across the Sinatra show in Aruba and took a close look including looking at some videos of the show. I also saw that people who had reviewed the show seemed to enjoy it and complement Fred De Jung’s on his show. This was so important because the stakes were high.

So I decided to contact Fred de Jong and ask if he would be willing to help with a marriage proposal. I explained the condition I had to meet and a vision I had to propose on the beach after a sunset dinner. He enthusiastically said yes and even offered to help organize it. This is when my luck begain to change. What I did not know at the time is that Fred de Jong is not only a talanted entertainer but also a talanted organizer as well. As this begin to unfold, it seemed as if he was as passionate and as invested as I in making sure this evening went well. After trading some emails to fine tune the dinner show, he had organized a magnificent custom dinner show just as I had envisioned. But organization doesn’t happen without planning and Fred de Jong had put a lot of effort into planning that made everything go even better than this perfect vision I had for the evening.

There were expenses that had to be covered up front. I needed to wire funds to cover the expenses. So that took trust. But by this point, Fred de Jong seemed to treat this show like it was his baby and he had such a burning desire to make sure everything was perfect. So I felt confident that it was safe to send him funds upfront and Fred de Jong delivered as promised.

We needed to get her to the beach without giving away the surprise. So it was arranged for her to enter a contest for a romantic beach dinner that she would win. When we arrived for the dinner, we had a linen draped table arranged in a beautiful setting. There were lights and sound too. A chef was there to cook our dinner right on the beach. The chef prepared picture perfect tasty food and paired it with wine. Everthing was so exceptional, that she said this is a big deal winning this contest. There was a wonderful sunset, an exceptional dinner, romantic music, and good wine. Just perfect. Then this man dressed in a tux appeared and told us he was there to entertain us.

It was Fred de Jong bringing Frank to life with the same mannerisms and phrasing. He sang “All my tomorrows”. The vocal and music were touching. Next, he sang “luck be a lady” which was fitting because next came “Fly Me To The Moon” As Frank sang she was moved and begin to cry. When “Fly Me To The Moon” ended, I went down on my knee to propose. She turned to me and cried “you got me Frank”. There was such Joy in her Voice. When I asked her “Will you Marry me”? She said “Yes you got me Frank”. Fred de Jong had brought Frank Sinatra to Life! Frank sang 10 more songs. The only thing we wished would have been different is that it could have been 20 songs.

We didn’t go see the regular show at the Old Cunucu House or Bavaria since this evening was already arranged near the end of our trip. However, during the planning of this proposal, a friend went to Aruba for an annual trip. When he came back, he began to tell me about the trip and recomended that I go see the Frank Sinatra show the the Old Cunucu House. He complemented the show and said they enjoyed the restaurant. We did dine at Bavaria on another evening and the food was execellant (see my review on Bavaria for details). We came back to Bavaria a second evening for desert!

Next time we are in Aruba, we’ll sure be going to see Fred de Jong perform. Fred de Jong’s passion to perserve the music of Frank Sinatra and the american song book is worth seeing for yourself. I think it is the best value for entertainment I have seen anywhere!

When we heard about the Aruba Sinatra Dinner show on tripadvisor.com, we knew that we had to include the show in our honeymoon plans. The night did not disappoint. It was a great show that included all of Frank's classics. Fred de Jung was extremely personable and made my husband and I feel at home at The Old Cunucu House Aruba. Plus, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic! All in all, it was a memorable night in Aruba with a classy dinner show and delicious meal.

Just got back from Aruba and the Sinatra Dinner show at the Old Cunuco House was one of our highlights. Fred welcomed and talked with us a bit when we walked in and once everyone was seated for dinner he sang some beautiful songs. Not only his voice, but his mannerisms were dead on Sinatra. We had the pleasure of having an ex Frank Sinatra backup singer/piano player having dinner that night and she got up and sang a couple songs too. Had the broiled Grouper which was great with mashed potatoes and vegee's. Along with a bottle of wine, my wife and I had a great time. The room is basically an old original Arubian house and he performed in one of the rooms set up with dinner tables. There weren't a lot of people there the night we attended, so it was a very intimate performance. Fred would introduce the song he was going to sing along with the composer and/or arranger and perhaps give a little background to the song just like the concerts we've seen of Frank on TV. If you're looking for a relaxing evening to sit back with a nice dinner and some great music, I would highly recommend this show. In my opinion it's the best deal on the Island.

My husband and I enjoyed the show very much. We have talked about quite abit sense we've been home. It was a nice way to celebrate our anniversary, especially when he sang a song my husband requested so we could dance. The food was great, the service was great and we enjoyed the company of all the other guests. The pictures that were taken of us dancing were absolutely great. Would really ;like to see this show again on our next trip to Aruba.
