From the time we climbed aboard till we finished our dinner of the fish we caught, everything was top notch. We booked them for 8 hours but part of our group couldn’t handle the rough seas so we came back early. We caught Wahoo, tuna, and barracuda. Very good captain and helper. They let us decide how long we wanted to stay out. The restaurant did an exceptional job of cooking our catch for $15 per person!

Fishing was a little slow but we were warned about it right at the beginning of the trip. Ended up getting some excitement right near the end! Staff was friendly and we were able to have the tuna at the Driftwood restaurant that night. Would do again!

I charter a boat every time we go on vacation but this will be the last time I chose Driftwood. I should have listened to some of the locals. We caught a half dozen small fish. That's ok, that's why it's called fishing and not catching. our main beef is that the deck mate (Gregory) was constantly yelling at us. Lower the rod!! Stop reeling! Star reeling! Why are you doing that. Zero personality from him or the captain. If I wanted to be bitched at the whole time fishing I would invited the wife. If you are looking to get a good charter stick with the guys that own their own boat rather than going with these guys. The crew evidently don't care if your there or not. They were more interested in how much we were going to tip them at the end.

First, the fishing trip was a huge success (see pics)! We caught more fish than I could’ve imagined (wahoo, red snapper, blue runner, and more). Our captain (pretty sure it was Anthony) was friendly, fun and very professional! I’m sad I can’t remember the other two guys’ names, but they were great, too. My reason for only giving 4 stars is because the inside of the boat was very dirty and smelled awful. I didn’t go in the bathroom so I have no clue if it was clean or not.
It was an added bonus that the company also owns the Driftwood restaurant and all of our fish were taken there. We went for dinner that evening and they prepared our fish five different ways. Excellent meal!!!

This was a great thing for the guys to do on our trip! Group of 5 did the afternoon fishing trip with a 630 dinner reservation after. Caught a bunch of fish. Small tuna and red snapper were our catches of the say. Sea was rough this day so it was hard on some of the group but over all had a great time. The overall experience from boat to dinner was truly awesome. Whole group of 9 got to enjoy the fish at dinner. We would highly recommend the whole experience again to anyone as a must do on the island!

There are know words to describe the unforgettable deep sea fishing trip we went on in Aruba. We chose the 8hr tour, which starts at 8am. Our trip was on the Driftwood 1, we had an amazing captain named Francis and his 1st mate name was Gregory. Gregory was extremely prepared and was always working to keep bait on the lines.. The captain was a fantastic guide keeping the boat where the game fish were at the southeast tip on the island. My husband and our two boys (ages 21 and 18) all caught fish on the trip. Mission accomplished!!! We ended up with 2 Barracuda, 1 Mahi Mahi and 2 Wahoo. The fish were so hungry , a shark decided to attack the last fish of the day my husband reeled in, only leaving the head of what appeared to be a 50lbs Wahoo. Everyone was overly excited by the trip and we look forward to future plans to go on another deep sea fishing adventure with the Driftwood Fishing charters the next time we visit Aruba. 10 out of 10 stars

Had a great time with Nomoor and his dad on driftwood. Caught some great fish, baracooda and sailfish. They were super friendly and worked the whole time to make it happen!

This was our second time with Driftwood Charters and it was just as awesome as the first time. We did a 4 hour afternoon trip and pulled in some barracudas, wahoos , and even a sailfish! The sail fish we did catch and release but made for a great picture and made for a story of a lifetime!
The crew is so fun to work with and they put us on the fish from start to finish. It is super easy to book online, and as an added bonus the crew will take your fish from the dock to Driftwood restaurant (you can literally walk to the restaurant) and you can eat your own fish for dinner! We can't wait to go back.

We enjoyed our 4 hour deep sea fishing tour with Captain Francis and Gregory. Friendly service and even turned back after 3 hours when one got sea sick (don't forget dramamine!). Put in a good effort and caught a Mahi Mahi and several red snappers. Enjoyed eating it freshly cooked at Driftwood restaurant that night--highly recommend! Such a unique and unforgettable experience!

Had a great time with the family on our fishing charter on the Driftwood!
Even though the fish weren’t biting that day it didn’t diminish the captain & his mate from regularly replacing the bait, tracking birds feeding on the water and trying their best to hook us on to some fish.
In the end, we hooked onto a 25kg sailfish & managed to real it into the boat to take some pictures. The captain practices catch & release on any billfish to maintain the local population so we let this one go.
Thanks to Herbert & his team we really enjoyed out outing!

Hi if we go 8am-12pm, do we eat our catch of the day at lunch or do they only cook it for dinner reservations? Tia

I see on the website they open at 5:00 pm so it looks like dinner only. They serve water & soda for the four hour trip. Your catch can be prepared at their restaurant that night, an interesting perk which besides their excellent reviews as fishermen is why I am going with them.
I have booked a half day fishing charter for Aug 16th we are 2, looking to see if anyone is interested in joining us?
