This was an outstanding dive experience. Depth of dive between 35 - 80 feet. The reef was awesome, we tried to get to the ship wreck but the current pulled us along a beautiful reef structure instead. Dive master's were awesome, attentive and made you feel very safe.

I booked to do my Underwater Photography specialism and a couple of additional dives with SE Aruba Fly'n'Dive and overall had a really good experience. They are a friendly, professional dive shop and communication ahead of time about my booking was clear and informative. I did the classroom portion of the speciality in advance by e-learning and Paula was able to provide me with a discount code for purchasing the e-learning manual via them rather than direct from PADI. They provide a free shuttle service to and from both the low rise and high rise hotel districts to their dock near the airport which is super convenient. All the dives were boat dives and I really enjoyed the diving, which was a mix of interesting wrecks and very chilled out gentle reef drifts: a nice relaxing return to the water after not being able to dive for 18 months due to the pandemic! Aruba is not the place to go if you want to see lots of big stuff, but as Caribbean reef diving goes it was excellent. The reefs are in great shape with loads of reef fish and macro stuff to see and beautiful healthy corals and sea fans, the currents are gentle, the water is warm and the wrecks are fun! We visited the Jane Sea freighter which is a beautiful wreck, sunk in the 1980s and covered in marine life, and the newer Airplane Wrecks which haven't been colonised by as much marine life yet but are really cool to see. We were a maximum of five or six divers each day and it was great to dive in small groups at sites where Adolfo and Alonso had taken care to schedule our visits so that we never shared a dive site with another boat. I brought most of my own gear but rented a BCD and regulator and was impressed by the standard to which all their gear is maintained and their attention to safety throughout. Adolfo and Alonso were a pleasure to dive with and Adolfo gave me lots of helpful tips about choosing camera set-ups. There was a bit of a snafu on the first day when it turned out the GoPro I had rented for the course hadn't been fully charged so it conked out part way through the first dive. Fortunately I had booked to do a third day's diving so was able to complete the four photography dives on the following two days, but if I had only had two days to complete the course this would've been an issue. However this was the only problem I encountered and I would happily dive with SEA Fly'n'Dive again - I've already recommended them to a friend who is visiting Aruba next month.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I did “discover scuba”! And we did just that!!! We went to a pool first to get the basics then went to the open water by boat. The instructor I had was awesome and truly made me feel comfortable under water. The ocean wad gorgeous! We saw amazing reefs and fish! We even saw a turtle, eels, tuna, and barracuda! They provided everything we needed and just made you feel so comfortable and showed you the way the whole time! They provided some light food and plenty of water. I would recommend taking an antiemetic if you are prone to sea sickness as a side note. I can’t say enough good stuff about this trip, we don’t have scuba photos of under water yet but if you have a capable camera this might also be something you want! If being scared and health conditions won’t hold you back, DO IT! YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!!

I can't say enough good things about Paula and her team. She was flexible, accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. Her team, dive instructors and captain are all excellent and most important skilled experienced instructors you can trust. I took my 13 year old to complete her check out dives and have to give a big shout out to Alonso - excellent instructor, attentive diving guide - just the best. I have been diving around the world and I promise you won't find a better team to dive with - highly recommend!
