We took a ride on Friday morning because the website said they were open Friday, Sat & Sundays. FB page also was not marked temporarily closed at the time, in fact it lets you reserve a time. The place was abandoned the floats all deflated, and unkept. The beach bar staff next door said that no one has been around in at least 6 months to run the place. It's a shame because you can see this from the plane as you land and the kids were excited to try it out. Don't waste your time.

Sketchy! Booked the excursion. Transportation never showed up and when we drove ourselves to the park, no one was there. Once we saw the park, we were actually glad no one was there. It looked dilapidated and not well cared for. TripAdvisor refunded our money, but I would not recommend this place.

My 7yo begged to go to the splash park. After reading reviews I decided to give it a try. Boy was it exhausting and a workout for me. Thankful for the lifeguards that were available to help us up otherwise I would have never gotten anywhere. It is way harder than it looks. My 7yo loved it, however I was glad it was only an hour! I also developed a rash after it’s not very clean as it is in water all the time and it’s disgusting when you see all the green algae growing underneath as your being pulled up.

Great to do with tweens and teens that want to do something different! It was pretty challenging but the kids loved it!

My son and I went here as he saw it from the plane when we landed and was asking day after day to go. He was not disappointed and absolutely loved the course. The employees are phenomenal and help you get in and out of the water. There is a lot to do and it takes a lot longer to do everything than you might think. My son is 7 and I would recommend this for ages 6+. Teenagers would probably have the most fun though as it is physically challenging.

My husband and I took our 6 year old daughter. We were the only customers and stayed about an hour. We had a great time, but really only needed an hour. The man working was GREAT. He helped the entire time pulling us out of the water and back onto the floats when we fell in and showed us different obstacles, even jumped on the trampoline with our daughter. We were wiped out and couldn't keep up! As others have noted, it is difficult to climb back on but not impossible. One improvement would be more handles or ropes or something to help climb back on. If we weren't the only people and getting a lot of help, it would have been extremely tiring climbing back up. We would go back. Fun, different experience.

I booked his excursion for September 21, 2019 and at the time of purchase with Viator all went well and I received my tickets (3). When I arrived in Aruba I called the Tel## as seen on the ticket however it went to voicemail. Later I asked the hotel staff to call and they told me that the number was incorrect. They searched the internet however no luck. I then called Viator and when I spoke to the representative they asked me to stay on the line while they call the operator of the tour themselves. Several Minnis later they had no luck so told me they would send an email copying me to thee tour operator and once they respond they will be in touch. I advised them that if I did not hear within 24hrs I would cancel as I did not want to suffer the loss financially as it was within 24hrs to expiry in receiving a refund. The next day (around 7pm) I did not hear from them either by email or telephone so I went online and cancelled and I received my money back. We really wanted to go on this tour but don’t know what really happened. 😟

My hubby and I decided to give it a try this morning. We are thoroughly exhausted. What a fun workout! Be careful with kids here as I cut myself on a rusty trampoline. However, we would do it again!

My 9 year-old son really wanted to do this. Everywhere he goes it's "challenges". He wants to be a ninja warrior and maybe he will someday. Anyhow, I really did not want to do this because it looked like a rolled ankle or torn ACL just waiting to happen. But my 6 year-old son got a little spooked and quit early so I was his wing man. We did all the obstacles and I had a blast without any damage other than a weird section of my shoulder that didn't get sunscreen and burned. The downside is that the obstacles are really slippery and I think it's impossible to do most if you aren't wearing water shoes - when I was leaving I saw another dad out there wearing them and they seemed to help. There was a guy out there to help people get back on if they struggled and he was really nice. The front desk people are pretty detached and indifferent. Be careful jumping as the water is shallow and you could hit one of the anchoring cables or posts if you're not careful. Oh, and my wife STRONGLY advises that women wear shorts of some kind and not bikini bottoms!

Everything we want with intensity and fight with perseverance becomes an achievement, so if your child wants to be the next American Ninja Warrior, it will be. We are glad to have been a fun alternative on your vacation and please when your child reaches his goal that he named us on television that we were his first training camp, we are waiting for you again.

We visited SplashPark near the end of our weeklong vacation in Aruba, when we were running out of things to do. There were five of us—four sisters in our late 30s/early 40s and a 13yo boy. It’s exhausting and a great workout, and there was a lifeguard there to help us climb back up on the floaties When we were tired. That said, it’s easy to hurt yourself. I slipped off a ladder and smacked my hip on the way to the water. Later on I landed on a seam and cut my leg, but the employees were SO nice, they helped me treat my cuts with peroxide and triple antibiotic cream. My sisters were a little banged up, but I was the only one injured. And it was still a ton of fun. We paid $18/hour per person in low season (July).

Thanks for taking some time and writing about your experience in the park. We are glad that you enjoyed our facilities and that our staff sees your needs. We regret that he has been beaten and we hope that his vacation in aruba will pass the best.

I don't remember lockers. We were with large group so someone was always by the chairs.

Greetings, thanks for writing. If it is easy to access walked is 30 min (2 KM) and by car is 5 min. If you want we can search for them but you must make the reservation via expedia online.

what is the minimum age? Is a 3 year old too young to enjoy this park?
Erin
Buffalo, NY12 contributions
I'm not aware of a minimum age (my children are 12 and 14) and don't recall seeing anything posted.
There is a bit of swimming needed from one float to another, but you must wear a lifevest so you can also float I suppose. If you have a 3 year old, I'm sure you'll find yourself swimming and jumping right next to them most of the time. I do recall seeing a few children that looked to be around 5 or 6 and they were having a blast.

Do you have to book a reservation? Or can we just go there? My nephew just wants to jump for an hour. We don’t want to do a tour or anything.

Just show up. We went in summer so perhaps it is busier in the winter months and you may want to either go earlier in the morning or towards the end of the day. Awesome place.

Oh definitely. Its a bit less than a mile and that stretch has good sidewalks/pathways. Its all on the same side just follow the sidewalk along LG Smith Blvd. Of course depends how old the kids are. 3 and 5 may not like it. Would be a cheap taxi back (they are right there since there is another restaurant) if everyone was bagged and not up for the walk back.
