From a quick response to an online enquiry to organising a pick up from our hotel - dealing with Susie was amazing. The tour, which includes swimming with horses, was a dream come true: both for a slightly rusty used to be rider and a complete newbie who doesn’t even swim. Susie was a great leader on the trail, an encourager during the swimming and a photographer whilst we were in the water. I highly recommend the riding club as an experience I’ll never forget but also supporting a local business that is doing all they can to keep their heads above water whilst having multiple horses to feed - and let’s not forget the foster dogs on the side. If you’re going to Antigua, you have to go riding with Susie!

My 10 year old daughter and I had a wonderful morning with Kent. We rode out along a trail and then down to the beach where we untacked then took the horses into the sea. It was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours and was a treat for us both. We are both riders and just enjoyed being able to set the pace and mostly taking it easy. Kent was so friendly and chatty, he made us giggle and we felt completely comfortable and safe in his company. I really recommend you book a ride whatever your level of ability- it’s an unforgettable experience. Oh and the puppies back at the stables were the icing on the cake 🥰

Went for a morning ride and then dip into the sea. Just the Guide and 3 of us on the walk which was through fields, forest and into the shallows of the mangroves with crystal clear water. We then dismounted, got changed into our swimming gear and bareback rode the horses into the sea which was highly enjoyable and the horses loved it too. For about 90 minutes including the above the price was $80, I’m a novice rider and loved it, my partner is experienced and owns a horse and loved it too.

My daughters (age 11 and 9) had a series of lessons with Susie during the fortnight we were in Antigua, and had the most amazing time riding. Susie increased their confidence greatly, and was an inspiring and capable teacher. By the time we left, the girls were both jumping small fences (having never jumped before) and were thrilled. They were allowed to tack up the horses and were given independence that grew their confidence and developed their pony care skills. We also went riding one day to the beach and went swimming on the ponies - this was a real highlight of our trip and we all loved it. Susie is super experienced, friendly and great with children. We can't recommend Springhill Riding Club highly enough! Thank you Susie and Kent.

Such an amazing tour and I must do for anyone that loves horses. Our guide was so friendly, welcoming and informative. She really made my husband feel comfortable even though he’s not the biggest fan of horseback riding he had a good time. The horses are beautiful and very well taken care of . Swimming with them was such a great experience that we will remember forever. Definitely a highlight of our trip!!
