This is touristy spot for sure. Some local vendors, pay to "get in" and you'll have to taxi there since there is not much parking at all. Would be just an OK experience however, the views of the harbor make it all worth it.

A beautiful spot with amazing views of Nelson's Dockyard and English Harbor as well as of Montserrat Island. But the Sunday afternoon/evening food and music fest is just too overcrowded with tourists to rate 5 stars. Much better to visit at an off time to relax, hike the trails, and take in the Block House views nearby. All on all,... More

We visited this location during a bus tour of the island. A beautiful view of the surrounding area was seen from this location. It also has historical attractions nearby. Our local guide explained a lot about this area and the island's history generally. Very informative. Well worth a visit.

One of our favorite views of the entire Caribbean. The view of Nelson's Dockyard and the British Harbor is outstanding.

A lovely viewpoint with great photo ops. You can see English Harbour and the Nelson Dockyards. Would have preferred sunset viewing and the live music in the late afternoon.

Shirley heights is a wonderful place to view Falmouth Harbour and Nelsons Dockyard from, but to view them at sunset with the steel band playing is a very special experience, not to be missed. The barbecue and a "dark and stormy"drink completes the whole occasion.

The best time to go to Shirley Heights is for about 4.30pm on a Sunday evening. You have time to take in the view before watching the sunset and then enjoy the party atmosphere. The music starts with at steel band followed by a more modern session. Dancing is a must to get the full experience! We took a taxi... More

When we were in Antigua a local told us to visit, saying "before you leave Antigua you have got to go and see Shirley Heights. Go on a Sunday. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth, you've just got to see it." Well we hadn't done any research and so didn't know what to expect at all.... More

Great view of English Harbor. Get there right before sunset for an even more breathtaking view. The rum punch is an absolute must!

We got there early which turned out to be a good thing. It got crowded! We didn't eat there but the food looked and smelled great. Fantastic view and excellent sunset. Steel band was very good!
