Its now six months since our sail with Nick and Kaye so although this review is long overdue, its nonetheless sincere and heartfelt. This was our second spectacular sail with Nick and Kaye, and we looked forward to it from the day we booked our flights from Toronto. We knew the sail would be the highlight of our week, and we weren't disappointed. We had family with us this time, as well as a couple of acquaintances, and we all had a truly wonderful afternoon aboard. It must be said that Nick and Kaye are patient and benevolent hosts, which was very much appreciated. And the food (!) and fabulous cocktails (!!). The pictures I've attached pretty much say it all - smiles spread across our faces the entire afternoon. When we return to Antigua, and we will (this statement brings tears to my eyes in these times), we won't leave without another sail with Nick and Kaye. Thank you both for being the wonderful hosts and superb sailors that you are. Five stars seems insufficient.

Brian and I had the absolute pleasure to be the last sail of The Jabberwocky as the season came to a premature end due to Coronavirus. Great day from start to finish. Neither of us are sailors, but that did not impact on our enjoyment, we were kept abreast of everything that was happening, even down the tilting when we did the sailing part. Captain Nick and the lovely Kaye, made us very welcome, good company, good food and not forgetting the good rum punch 🍹and the lovely touch of a birthday cake as part of Brian's 60th birthday treat. Getting to both take a turn at the steering was great fun, though I think I well and truly blew the myth that woman are better than men, just as well there was nothing for me to hit. We have no hesitation in recommending Jabberwocky and wish Nick and Kaye all the best and hope business as usual rerurns next season.

As you say this turned out to be our last charter for a while and so we are especially glad that you so enjoyed your time aboard . As we write this in early June there are the signs of awakening of travel and tourism again so if you are planning a trip in the coming months where better than a largely Covid free Antigua with precautions in place where necessary and maybe taking a private trip will be best way to explore outside your resort or villa - just you and us on the boat for some gentle sailing and swimming , combined with food and drink and a chance to remind yourselves that life goes on and somethings will never change - and the sun, the sea and the sailing in Antigua are just waiting for you . We are going to judge when to reopen based in part on guests - when people start making enquiries we shall start up again , so do get in touch when you feel ready to explore the possibilities .

As the title says, we loved our time on the Jabberwocky with Nick and Kaye! We were a group of 4 adults and an 8 month old and were taken care of very well! We went out for a half day (not sure how the 8 month old would do) but could have easily gone out for a full day. They knew the places to go based on our preferences (getting some snorkeling in!) and also all about the island. The boat is beautiful and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the food and drinks. Will definitely do again when we return to Antigua!

You were lucky . It turns out you were one of our last few guests for a while, so we are very glad you enjoyed yourselves . With increasing travel bans and hotel closures the number of visitors to the island has fallen virtually to zero . Whilst Jabberwocky ( as a private charter just for you with no mixing with others) remained one of the best and safest way to take a tour, the drop in numbers and our own need to stay safe has made it necessary to suspend operations for the foreseeable future . We , like everyone else do not know how long this is going to affect normal life and travel in particular but we will make announcements on our website ( address appears up near our details on Tripadvisor ) from time to time . One of the key factors to the date of resuming operations will be when enquiries begin again , so if travel restrictions are relaxed and you decide to come to Antigua do get in touch , to enquire - about anything we might know about . In the meantime we hope TA moderators will allow us to take this opportunity to thank each and every guest over the last 14 years ,those you have added reviews and even those who have not! You have given us years of pleasure . We often laughed with you , and maybe just once or twice at you but have gained a wealth of enjoyment from guests from 20+ nations , and looking back at all those excited , thrilled , occasionally anxious but most of all happy faces it gives us confidence that we will all get though this and that the future will in fact be a happier and more contented place , as people spend more time counting their blessings . To all we wish you a safe and happy future . Nick and Kaye Middleton

We keep coming back for more! It must be the most perfect place to sail,.Sunshine, crystal clear warm seas and a steady breeze. Love it. Nick and Kaye our hosts, they made us feel most welcome and we felt we were in safe hands. Fantastic snorkelling, delicious snacks and a gorgeous lunch not to mention a few Caribs.

Another fantastic sail on Jabberwocky, all hands on deck as we helped Captain Nick with sails and ropes. We were very lucky with the wind and the weather and had a thrilling sail to Carlisle Bay, where we snorkelled in crystal clear waters. An eagle ray came swimming by and a couple of turtles popped up to say hi. Kaye whipped up a delicious lunch washed down by refreshing local wadadli beer, and after we had had our fill, the sails were once again hoisted as we made our way back to Jolly Harbour to watch a magnificent sunset with yet more delicious canapés and cocktails. Cannot recommend this day enough.
