Fantastic 4 hours learning from nick all about permit wading the Antigua flats. I left with the knowledge and tips to go after them by myself & even made contact with an alien later that day. Didn't land it, but part of me thinks that would have ruined the fun anyway. Highly recommend both Antigua for permit, and hiring Nick to help you find them.

Fishing with Nic was fantastic. We had two great days fishing for Permit and Bone fish. Nic is an amazing guide and an even better instruction. Best fishing trip ever. Can't wait to go back.

We had an excellent morning with Nick - he delivered as promised showing us Permit, Bones and some rolling Tarpon. This is a very exciting fishery ! Nick was a very professional and dedicated guide, he put us on the fish, super knowledgeable and gave just the right amount of advice and patient instruction.

What a brilliant two days I had with Nick in Antigua. It is something very special chasing bonefish on the flats in the crystal clear water or looking and casting to tarpon rolling in and around the mangroves. After losing a hefty tarpon of about 60lb on day one we changed tactics to land my first bonefish before my friend was sadly bust on another ! All very exciting .. The following day brought different conditions meaning tarpon were the main target. Incredibly in the first half and hour we spotted a pod of big tarpon rolling on the surface and after a 30 minute fight I had landed a fish of a lifetime - a tarpon estimated between 40-50lb! A few more tarpon came and went but I was very happy with just the one for the morning ! Nicks expertise and guidance was the main reason for my success with the fish - I was merely hanging on to the rod and trying not to panic … if you are in Antigua and enjoy your fly fishing be sure to contact Nick !

Fished with Nick on 7/21/21. I was staying at the Sandals and Nick referred a great driver to pick me up at the hotel and shuttle me to the dock where I met Nick for the days outing. Not being a saltwater fisherman and having grown up fly fishing the lakes and rivers of Western Canada I was extremely excited to try out the Saltwater tackle and experience these hard fighting fish. The day was incredible and Nick is a great guide, knows the area, knows the fish and is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to fly fishing these waters. He gave me some super casting tips that will help me forever. He has a great set up, the boat was awesome perfect for stalking fish and surprising those spooky bonefish! It wasn't long before he had me hooked up with a Tarpon which I managed to play for sometime before he spit the hook back in my face. I had tons of opportunities but there are some very subtle differences fishing for 3 lb rainbow vs 60 lb Tarpon. Nick put me on all kinds of fish I had an amazing day and adventure. The water, the scenery and the fish were just spectacular. I landed a few nice bonefish amidst the flats by the mangroves, it was epic! To stand in those Gin clear waters playing a bonefish is really once in a lifetime stuff! Thanks Nick for making an unforgettable day!
