We caught a taxi here while in port for the day on a cruise ship. Cost is $6pp each way. The beach is long and very pretty. The water was VERY cloudy though on the day we went which made snorkelling an impossibility. Rental of 2 chairs and an umbrella was $20 with wifi available (one device) for an extra... More

We were on a cruise and Antigua was one of the stops. After researching we went to Dickenson Bay, this beach is beautiful!! White sand and blue waters. We had a great time here

This is a beach that is a majority of Sandals but you can sit to the sides of the Sandals area and still enjoy the water and sun.

We got a taxi at the cruise port, and had a nice 15ish min. drive to this beach, at Ana's Restaurant and Bar area. It was $12.00, one way, for both of us. We sat ourselves at an area with rocks and a pine tree for shade, for when it got hot. It was a small beach area, and relatively... More

Short taxi ride from the ships berth. Lovely sandy beach, calm sea and great for paddling and swimming . Sun beds and brollies available. Sandals beach next door. Jet ski available. Life guards on hand. Freshly prepared coconut with ice and rum added so cheers. Coconut then prised from shell to eat. Lovely. Near the Halcyon resort a few little... More

I walked along this beach after having lunch at Coconut Grove. The beach is very narrow with Sandal's resort taking up most of this beach. I found this beach crowded, and it appeared no one ever left the resort once they planted themselves here. Such a shame as the Island offers so much to do and see.

Beautiful bay. Calm, turquoise sea and white, power-fine beach. Sandals resort is located on this beach, so that tells you how good it is. As all beaches in Antigua are public, you are free to walk along past Sandals. Halcyon Resort is at the far end, where the beach is slightly more shingle and sea-weedy, but still ok. Antigua Village,... More

A beach with beautiful soft white sand. There a plenty of places to find food and drink and the owners of beach front businesses do a great job of keeping the beach clean.

We got the day set from the cruise, talked afterward with other people, it is quite cheaper to grab a taxi to get there. The beach is on the small side, since the island is quite small. The long chairs and umbrella are quite expensive. Nice white sand clear water, but annoying jet skis too close to the swimmers who... More
