Great beach

The area is safe with beautiful sand and water. You can walk for a distance to change things up. The color of the sand and water is incredible.

We visit this beach on January 2017... super cool spot, the only thing is we took a tour to the beach with the cruse line and they charge us like $80 us dollar for only transportation. Wen we get to the beach they charge us $22 more for 2 chaire and umbrella, no drinks. A $100+ for a trip that... More

Wow, the best beach on Antigua. Safe, clean and beautiful. Watch pelicans dive for fish, fish swimming around your feet. Just get here early, before the lounger hoggers drop their towels

Dickson bay is great for walking. It has soft powder like sand. Water is warm and a gorgeous blue. Tour boats come right to shore to pick you up. Vendors offer jet ski & horseback riding on the beach. Snorkelling in the bay wasn't good at all.

Not even the best beach on Antigua, but superb, crystal clear waters, gentle sloping beach, plenty of water sports and only 10 mins from centre of St Johns, this island rivals Barbados, absolutely love it

Sandy beach, calm water, lots of activities, convenient location, variety of resorts and dining options make this a great beach destination. Friendly locals roam the beach selling activities, massages and souvenirs -- if you don't want these, just say "no thanks."

Shared a taxi from the cruise ship pier to the beach for $3 per person each way. Sandals resort occupies much of the beach but there are small public establishments on both sides of it. Rented beach chair for $5. Drinks were reasonably priced. From the beach, took a horseback ride to Runway beach.

We took about a 15 minute cab ride from the port shopping center to Dickenson Bay beach next to the Sandals resort. A beautiful little restaurant was in front with very clean bathrooms we had access to with the chair rentals. The sand was unlike anything we had experienced. Extremely soft and silky. Not a twig or sprout of seaweed... More

White sand and beautiful sunset for this peaceful and relaxing beach. The water and the beach are crystal clear and there are many attraction and pit stop restaurants. The beach is never too crowded or noisy despite the resorts and the hotels facing the bay. Recommended!
