Very interesting site. Broken glass bottles imbedded on top of wall to keep prisoners in????? Not a lot of historical sights on Anguilla remain. A building with a history.

If you have a rental car this is worth checking out. The ruins are a piece of the islands history and going there will reward you with a great view as well.

Very little remains of the old Prison ruins. The view out of over Crocus Bay is worth seeing, but if you turn around you get a great view of the water tanks !

the old prison was totally blown away by hurricane Janet, with only the basement cells still left behind but only about 5 foot high so watch your head, but now very overgrown, and if it was not for the view at the top would not be worth visiting. do not expect any mountains in Anguilla it is very flat and...
