Fantastic experience for myself and my girlfriend - the centre was really interesting with plenty to do and see. We we able to feed and fly 3 owls and a Harris Hawk. The hosts were really engaging and made the experience great. Would definitely come back again

I love wildlife, nature, birds but birds of prey leave me breathless. Their sheer beauty and exceptional aerial expertise amazes me. I have never been sure about any creature in captivity and it is not without trepidation I decided to visit Exmoor Owl & Hawk Centre. But I do understand many animals face extinction and without such places some of... More

Took owl mad daughter here as a surprise while on holiday in Exmoor. She was so excited and we weren't disappointed. Lots of different owls to see and a one hour talk and display with owls and a buzzard. As there were only 2 families there on that day was like a personal presentation! Really pleased we went.

I contacted Cathy at the centre regarding a birthday present for my partner and she couldn't have been more helpful and quick to respond. I booked a half day bird flying experience and one night B+B. It took a while for us to get round to setting a date but when the time came again Cathy was super quick to... More

4 of us visited and loved it! The people were very helpful and found a shady place for us to park for the sake of our dog. Decent basic sandwich lunch and then the main course: a highly informative presentation with the owls and hawks. The birds were brought very close to the visitors - excellent for photography and just... More

A light lunch in the Garden and then off to see the Owls (and the Buzzard). Very informative and real close up views of the birds. Watch the display then wander round the farm. My wife and I really enjoyed it and glorious weather too. A must if you are in the area

At 91 years of age this was a experience my mother had always spoken about but never achieved. As a surprise we booked her an hour flying a Harris Hawk and other birds of prey. Giddy as a school girl is the only description to describe her excitement and resultant enjoyment of the morning. An experience everyone should have no... More

We booked a half day Bird of Experience at Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre for Wednesday 20 July as my wife, who is owl mad, wanted to get close to them and experience flying them. The website indicated that this is very much a “hands-on” experience, and so it turned out to be with my wife and both our daughters... More

We heard about this place from a leaflet at the B & B we were staying in at Minehead, so we decided to go today (26/07/16). Admission was £10 per adult which seemed reasonable, giving the large number of animals here. There was a beautiful tea garden which benches overlooked by the resident and noisy macaws, and also a tea... More

Last time we went was about 6 years ago and the place was lovely and welcoming, we found the staff cared and made the visit special. This time however the "lovely lady" that took our money very quickly was less than informed about what was on offer and what was previously offered. Before their was a personal experience where they... More

Thank you for your comments about our Centre and I am sorry that you were so disappointed. We are an Owl & Hawk Centre, and a riding establishment. As such we fly birds, we take people out riding on our horses across beautiful Exmoor countryside, we have a lovely peaceful and tranquil tea garden with the macaws and chickens for... More
