We all had a lovely time with Ross on his wildlife tour this week. It's fair to say that the wildlife was not plentiful as the autumn is here, but that did not detract from the experience. Ross is clearly very knowledgeable about the wildlife - we saw Heron, Geese, Marsh Harriers in flight more than once, and enjoyed the sound of warblers, as Ross delightfully imitated their call so we could identify the sound. We also saw Pied Wagtail, also it seems known as 'Chiswick Flyover's' because of their distinctive call; and I know Chiswick Flyover very well! It is also very clear that Ross is enthusiastic about his topic, and about the history of the wildlife and of the Broads. Thank you Ross, well worth the visit.

Really enjoyed our trip today, we were lucky to see lots of wildlife, including marsh harriers, kingfisher, otter, and so lucky to have cranes circling our boat!!!!!! Great value for money, very informative, we would love to do this trip again at a different time of year.

Wednesday was a beautiful sunny day and I'd booked us in for a trip on Ross's wild life boat trip ,as a birthday present for my husband. When we arrived we were the only people on the trip, another couple who had booked were a no show, which I think is disgusting. My husband happened to mention that the only bit of the broads he had never been on was waxham cut, Ross immediately said O.K. if you've never been there and there's only us and it's your birthday let's do it. It was a magical hour, no noise apart from the water and a little from the engine, a grass snake swam across the river in front of us and a heron flew over us, there were an extraordinary amount of dragon flies around which were wonderful to see their colours are so bright, we got to the head of navigation and Ross had to quant the boat round as this was the only way to get round. All in all a wonderful hour.
