I took the 'early' boat at 9.45am, just 2 passengers, and a lovely peaceful trip, seeing Marsh Harriers, Swifts, geese, gulls and hearing many varieties of Warbler (with the occasional lucky glimpse). Ross is very knowledgeable and pointed out and identified what I would have...More

We were very lucky to join Ross as he took a group of people on a wildlife trip along the Broads at Horsey. He is very knowledgeable and his passion for bird life is infectious! At one point he turned off the engine and punted...More

A really happy experience. Ross is an excellent guide and it makes all the difference when your guide is so knowledgeable and can interpret what you see and hear so well. As regards the wildlife, not spectacular but lots of little encounters, swan, herons, cranes,...More

Ross was very entertaining on this lovely hour long ride down the river at beautiful Horsey. Lots of knowledge of the area and the birdsong from the reeds. Such a pleasurable way to spend the morning. Just wish it was longer.

Went at 3.15 both days, different weather, different locations, both interesting, informative and lovely. So nice to float in silence looking for wildlife and then traveling on listening to Ross’s comments and observations. Really recommend this trip even if you are not a bird specialist,...More

A lovely trip well worth every penny, and pound for the dog. We both thoroughly enjoyed our trip seeing the peaceful sights, and listening to Ross's knowledge of the birds was so interesting. Lucky to see the swallows arriving, with the added bonus of going...More

Ross's trip is a one-hour pleasure. He knows a lot about the wildlife in the Broads, and we saw cranes, a white egret and marsh harriers in one trip. He connects with his passengers and gave an 9-year old girl the day of het life...More

We chose a poor time of the day, nevertheless, a wonderful trip out into Horsey Mere. Some of the time was spent “quanting” with the engine off. So peaceful. Ross can tell you what a bird is with the naked eye that is difficult to...More

I would have thought so... just be aware that there is a sign to 'mind your head' as you get on the boat. So you will need to be able to duck slightly as you step down. Ross is very helpful to anybody getting on so I cannot... More
