Marianne North was a gifted artist who travelled extensively, with a superb eye for the wonderful nature all around her. This collection deserves more than a cursory glance- and the accompanying film (only 8 minutes long) is well worth watching.

Any time is a good time, but keep in mind that Kew Gardens, where it is located, attracts many tourists so I would stay away from the summer months. As for parking, I take the tube so I really don't know.
