The best beach in the island . We visited that beach the last day before our departure . This beach is a hidden gem. Not crowded, no seaweed , no rocks, crystal clear and gets deep smoothly. Perfect spot to reload your batteries and relax . A must in the island

Agiassos Beach is amazing, very long and clean, with a yellow sand and transparent water, with very few people there even in the high season. It is a real paradise, especially good fit for families with small children.

Naxos is blessed with the most superb beaches around the Cyclades. This one, long, shimmering and unspoiled by lounge chairs and umbrellas is a delight. And it offers an excellent little taverna nearby: the Panormitis. Don't miss it.

This beach is far of where tourists are staying on Naxos. And it shows. All in all during half a day here there were maybe 50 people. This feels more like a natural beach although there is a BnB/Hotel close by at one side, and a restaurant at the other end. The beach is of fine sand, the water clear blue, and just to the north of it you have some good rocky area where you can snorkel and find a decent amount of fun things to look at under-water. As the beach feels rather deserted, you'll never be disturbed, and there are thus not much amenities. However, the 1 restaurant there is...fantastic food! (and good value) It's called Vrahia, and you can sit on one of their tables out on the beach under the shadow of the trees. Lovely! And they cater with freshly caught fish. Probably not the best place if you are looking for more amenities, showers, bathrooms, snack place, sun chairs etc.

A beach mostly frequented by Naxians without the hustle and bustle of the more touristy beaches of the island. You won't find sunbeds and umbrellas for rent here. A walk around the rocky right hand side of the bay is definitely worth the while. Good quality affordable food available on a small tavern located right on the beach. The drive to/from this beach offers beautiful sceneries with a wilder, bucolic feeling as this area is significantly less built. You can combine a drive to Agiassos with a visit to Demeter's Temple, Bazaios Tower and the villages of Sangri and Chalki as they are all near-by.

This beach is the best on Naxos. No sunbeds but 2km of sand, crystal clear water beautiful surroundings and a number of nice tavernas. couldnt ask for more from a beach! very safe for kids as shallow, sandy bottom no rocks at all. Also never gets busy.

The further you drive, the quieter the beaches and this is no exception. Huge sandy beach and acres of space to choose your spot even in main school holidays. Acces to the sea is easy, sandy floor and you can swim out a long way without it getting deep.

Most people (still only a handful) are at the end near paradise studios but you can drive right onto beach so we took our quad along about half way and parked near panormitis cafe. The experienced visitors there had their camper vans with all their gear at hand, beach chairs, surfboards, kites etc so if you have a lot of gear and/ or small children and don't want to carry it/ them far,rat this is an ideal spot.

We just had parasols, towels and a bag. At lunch we visited the cafe behind and loved it. The lady made us very welcome and although we just ordered a dish each and a beer she brought us a plate of bread and appetisers before and a plate of melon after so quite a banquet! Food, service and location (sea view) all excellent so I said I'd write a review for her on tripadvisor. She thanked me but says she hopes it doesn't get too busy as it's just a family business and she would have to take on staff. She just likes to have 'explorers' call by. It's quite nice being regarded as an explorer rather than a tourist! She obviously enjoys what she does and so did we. Highly recommended!

It is a quiet beach - a nice taverna at the entrance. Highly recommend the taverna. You will need your own umbrellas etc for the beach. When we went it was pretty wavy, unlike what we'd seen in most pictures (even though it wasn't a windy day). We enjoyed it, however. Much less crowded and has a slightly rugged feeling to it.
We went by bus from Naxos town. There was only one at 11 am from Naxos town to there, and only one back at 6.30 pm. The return one was 30 mins late - which did worry us as there was no other to go back with and it is about 40-50 mins away from Naxos town. It turned up nevertheless... Phew! You can get bus times from the bus station near the port in Naxos.

The place is very quiet for swimming even during august, the left part of the beach is really beautiful, on the way you can see the main land of the island, with the Temple of Demetra. The restaurant Vrachia is fully recommended for lunch or dinner with delicious local food, and products

The water is quite shallow for maybe a hundred meters going out, and there is a sand bar, so very safe for small children. There are small round rocks in some places, but one can find good sandy places for getting in and out.
