We had La Stoppa wine in Switzerland...actually, a cabernet which they don't even grow anymore which is too bad as it really was a very good wine but, the owners wanted to have more local grapes and it has worked well for them. We met with Francesca for what became a private tour with a very knowledgeable expert especially about the local grapes. We tasted 4-5 reds and 2 whites after taking a short walk on the property and then down to the aging cellar with great fun...along with the 2 dogs that were quite the pair. We bought 7 bottles with one to drink here in Italy....loved the winery and would love to come back. Actually, we were in the area basically to come here because of our experience with their wine and then we built the rest of our time around it. If you love wines, I know you will love it here....Glad we had the Garmin!

One of the best tastings I have had. Elena was very welcoming and happy to answer all of our questions. The wine was truly wonderful as well.
