Great for kids’ imagination
Nov 2018 • Family
My 3 year old had so much fun here yesterday! This is a great place for imaginative play, with areas including a vets, builders yard and hairdressers. We had a 90min slot and my daughter was absorbed from start to finish. Plenty of space, everything was clean and staff were very friendly.
A lovely place for kids without a single iPad or screen in sight!

2nd visit not so great
Oct 2018 • Family
After our first visit I was excited to take our toddler back to Little Play Town in Odiham. There are some fantastic toys to play with for young children, it is nicely laid out in little sections and it seems fairly clean.

Unfortunately we will not visit at the weekend again as there was way too many children and adults in the area to which it felt unsafe and extremely hectic! (I know play areas I generally busy but this was on another scale!)

If there could be any improvements to the place I would recommend lowering the amount of people per session as it really took the enjoyment out of it. They must have a limit to how many people they can let onto a session, but play time aside, in the event of an emergency I wouldn’t want to imagine how that many children and adults would be able to get out safely -especially down the steep flight of steps which lead up to the play area.

I also think some lockers in the changing area would be ideal as people leave their bags on the seats in the cafe/take them around with them in an already busy play area which could be a trip hazard.

I would like to think we would visit again in the future but I would avoid weekends and possibly school holidays as well like the plague. Hopefully the owners will find the right balance in numbers in the future, otherwise I could imagine there being a lot more disgruntled customers.

Lovely, clean

Light and spacious role play centre. Beautifully decorated with some fab toys to play with and on. Different to other role play centres in that it has a fire station with steps and slide, a fire engine to climb on, a tree house to climb up so gives some gross motor activity in addition to imaginative play. Most of the toys are wooden and feel as if they have been brought especially rather than collected up from car boot sales and thrown together as has been the case in other role play centres we have visited. Everything felt clean.

I felt that there were perhaps a few too many children at the session we were at, could have benefited by reducing by about 20%. I also think capping the age at 5 may be appropriate given an older child there was encouraging my 2 year old to throw stuff off the treehouse whilst shouting about bombing things, behaviour which I wasn't too pleased about really as preschoolers shouldn't really learn about bombs.

There was also no attempt to reset the play areas once play had begun so once one child had emptied all the food into shopping trolley, that is where is stayed. I have been to other role play centres where someone scurries around replacing this sort of thing once child has finished playing with it so another child can have the shopping experience.

Cafe disappointing, basically reselling supermarket brought cakes and biscuits at inflated prices. Tea scorching hot.

My other recommendations on improve this place would be:
1) it is up a steep flight of stairs and given most people have a toddler, a toddler height hand rail up the stairs would be good.
2) you can now buy toilet seats which have an incorporated child's size seat, this would be nice for a place aimed at toddlers
3) toddlers hate hand driers, please provide hand towels.

Great place for kids
Feb 2018 • Family
My son loves this play centre.
1st time we visited everything was tidy and set up for the play. Unfortunately 2nd time we visited it wasnt tidied from the previous session and it was very messy. Througout the whole session (which was super busy) i didnt see any members if staff tidying up.
That really put me off visiting again, as we didnt enjoy it like 1st time round.

Hi Sabinna, glad your son loves Little Play Town. We are not sure what happened and why it wasn't tidied up as this is our usual process. We do make sure that we tidy every session and during, but we did have to get some new staff as had some issues, if you could provide the dates and session time and we can look into it. Customer service and providing a top rated experience is very important to us, so your feedback is welcomed. Give us another try and we'll give you a free coffee.

Lovely place for pre schoolers...
Feb 2018 • Family
We've been here many times with our 2 small boys and we've always had a great time.

Even over half term ,when it was full, it was a pleasent visit and didn't feel too crowded.

The place is clean and there is a good choice of dress up clothes and toys for the children to use.

It's nicely laid out and the cafe is reasonable value if you want a drink...

Our first visit
Jan 2018 • Family
This was our first visit here , although we managed to park in their car park it has limited spaces and I know that there is a pay and display car park further along . The entrance is to the Little Play Town is up some quite steep stairs so if you are carrying a small child you have to be careful . Also it was quite busy so you end up queueing on the stairs , while you're waiting .
Overall the little ones have a very enjoyable time , not maybe as big as we was hoping . Great little seating area for light refreshments . We brought two lollies , the only way I could explain what these are , on one lolly it's two sections , one white and one pink marshmallow . The top is dipped in hundreds and thousands and for that they charge £1.25 .
When you think how much a bag of marshmallows cost I'm sorry , this price is a rip off .
When you go into the toilets there is a toilet each side and you change your babies nappy in the central area . So therefore your babies bottom is on view for anyone to see . Not enough privacy especially in this day and age .

Delightful place to spend time with little ones
Jan 2018 • Family
What a find this was. We were meeting with daughter and grand-daughter for pre-lunch play. Parking was easy in pay and display which was good value. Short walk to the side-door which takes you to stairs leading up to Little Play Town. Lovely ladies to greet you. Shoes and socks off, we were ready to enjoy. There are various sections, all new and clean and beautifully presented - hairdresser, vet, building site, race track, kitchen, shop, farm .... and others. All ready to be explored and enjoyed. oh and each area had a selection of fancy dress items. (None adult size tho!!) And when a break is needed there are refreshments in a spotless cafe area. Such a great place for all children up to about the age of 6 or 7 I would think. We will definitely return.
