Definitely worth a visit.

We were staying at the Grand Mirage and this place was just minutes away- across the road and a couple of metres down a sign posted alley. I had researched the spa on trip advisor before coming to Bali and I am glad I did as it was what I expected and more.

The spa was clean, relaxing and the service was excellent. Both myself and my husband were very happy with the treatments we received in a clean air conditioned couples room and thought it was fantastic value for money. We have both attended spa treatments at luxury 5 star hotels in Bali before where treatments cost many hundreds of Australian dollars each and the treatments and service here was on par. Yes, this spa lacks the fancy extras such as a private infinity pool for spa guests or stunning ocean views but you also don’t pay for that in the price.

My husband and I both came here twice. I had an aromatherapy massage and my husband had a Balinese massage on the first visit which were both 90 min long and cost approximately $25 Australian each.

On our second visit which was on our last day, my husband had the 2 hour, happy hour massage and a full body scrub which was a total of 2.5 hrs long and cost $35 Australian. I had a 1 hour shellac pedicure, and a 90min body scrub and massage that cost $55 Australian dollars.

If we would of had these treatments at our hotel it would have been more than double the price.

Alternatively, I did not want to go on the beach or in one of the many cheap spas along the street they often lack air conditioning, their hygiene standards can be questionable and they offer limited privacy.

I would definitely recommend this spa. We also did not have any problem walking in to Home Spa and getting a treatment straight away but they do have a Facebook page and you can message them via what’s app which they can send a spa menu through.

We have been to the Home Spa several times over the years. The treatments are reasonably priced and the staff are really lovely. The premises are starting to look very tired - it could do with some paint and a bit of remodelling but having said that still enjoyed the treatments.

We were staying at the Grand Mirage and saw this spa on Trip Advisor nearby. We gave it a try and were very impressed. It is beautiful and clean and the staff are amazing.

We had the happy feet treatment and as it was our first time there we got a 20% discount so it was 200,000 IDR and then went down to 160,000 IDR. It was a 90 minute treatment so excellent value.

We went back the next day for a honey lover treatment and my husband had a back and shoulder massage. It was amazing again. The honey lover involved a massage, scrub and a lovely flower bath. The honey lover was 280,000 IDR with discount and back and shoulder was 112,000 IDR.

We managed to get photos of the treatment list with prices which I will add when I get home.

I would highly recommend if you are staying in nearby hotels. It is as good as any UK salon and the prices are awesome. It seems like you can just walk in and have a treatment but we also made appointments.

Wonderful place - I hope they get more business!

Anyone staying in the Nusa Dua/Benoa area would be very hard pressed to get a better value for money massage/spa treatment than at this very clean and presentable well run business. Very professional and unbelievably competitive with their fees when compared to what is on offer elsewhere .......... that is to say that the 3/4/5 star resorts nearby charge so exorbitantly for an often inferior service (yes, we tried them) and alternatively, the slightly cheaper 'street' spas are not staffed by professionals with many being quite unhygienic. Typically, the pricing for a 90 minute massage was AUD16.00 (IDR160000) with a similar massage costing AUD80.00 in our nearby resort .......... needless to say, we visited regularly. It was refreshing too, to experience a 'discount' (20%) on the listed prices from a business in a country that charges a tax of the same amount on almost every other transaction.

Tried this place because it has great views on Trip Adviser and it was only 2 mins from our hotel. Wasn't disappointed. Location is not obvious from the road but if you look it up first its pretty easy to find. Place was very clean and quite large. Plenty of treatments on offer and very well priced. An hour massage and an hour facial cost me $33. They also have happy hour from 9-11 every morning where you get 2 hours for the price of 1.
Lovely staff and none of us were disappointed with any of the treatments we had - highly recommend this place for value for money

I was here the year before and I found it to be the best all around treatment experience in Benoa. I was almost afraid to return thinking it would not be as I recalled... it was better! I was pretty broken when I returned this year; spiritually, emotionally and especially physically unwell. I went almost every day I was in the neighbourhood, I brought a friend for treatments and even when I was not in Benoa, they would pick me up from Nusa Dua.

There are plenty of places to get an inexpensive street side massage, but this is a lovely, clean and relaxing experience. It is substantially less than nearby hotel spas with very qualified and caring therapists. The therapists there truly care about you. There was a woman who reviewed earlier that she was cold during a treatment-if that happens to you-just ask for the AC to be turned off! Everyone is so accommodating.

I highly recommend all treatments-I think I have tried almost all of them. The reflexology worked out some other physical ailments and was only $9.60 CAD plus a tip. I fell on the way there one night - the sidewalk was being replaced all down the street. I scraped my arm and seriously bruised my leg. I thought I was going to be swollen and bruised big time. Widi carefully worked around the contusion and I had minimal swelling and no bruising. I was shocked. My arm which took less of the impact had a big bruise that lasted for a long time but my leg was only sore and slightly swollen.

I stayed at a hotel down the road which was a miserable experience and got progressively sicker with each day-not Bali belly but almost as debilitating. After ten days of reflexology my gut issues were gone! I also changed hotels. Truly healing.

I had not had a chance to eat one night so they brought me over a menu from the restaurant next door and I was able to find something to eat and drink. That was so lovely.

A trip to the Home Spa was the highlight of many of my days there. When I left Bali, I felt like I was on the road to recovery in many ways. I can't wait to return!

This review is late as I spent my time at this spa last summer, but I can see by the reviews that it is still an outstanding place to go. I have booked another trip to Bali and am determined to go here everyday for a treatment or two this coming summer.

I stayed at the Novotel Benoa and the first summer I was there, I went to the hotel spa-which is wonderful but more expensive than the Home Spa as well as another shop down the street from the Home Spa. The shop down the street had new employees and I was not impressed as it seemed to have gone down hill in a year. So this past summer I ventured further afield to find cheaper spas. I found the Home Spa-but as others have pointed out-not easily. Although it is advertised on the street, their front office is empty. The Happy Hour sign was faded so I missed it, I thought it referred to the restaurant next door. Luckily there were two employees on the front street who took me down the alley to show me the spa. The picture is not of the spa by the way, there are only five steps or so up to the open air lobby.

The greeting is so warm and they were always happy to see me. The cold towels and beverage are such a wonderful Balinese tradition and appreciated. The treatment book was overwhelming! So many choices that I had to take a pamphlet home to study for my next visit.

I was so impressed with Ayumung that I requested her each time. A small and young lady but so professional and her touch on this aging body was excellent. I had a decadent coffee scrub which would cost several hundred CDN here at home, and it was accompanied with an hour long Balinese massage- for only $28 CDN for the two hours. I can't remember feeling so rejuvenated.

There is free wifi and a lovely garden while you wait between treatments or treatments rooms if need be. The foot massage before bed became a ritual to help me sleep and get the aches of a day of sightseeing worked out. Each gal I had was wonderful-they are trained well.

The facility is clean, well kept and the employees seem genuinely happy to be there. Yes, there are cheaper places just outside their door, but as others have said, those chairs are worn, the facilities are less clean and the workers didn't seem to have the same touch-or interest- as the women at the Home Spa.

They do have issues with phone and email. We must remember that English is not their first language and the road was under repair at the time I was there, to install new bandwidth and phone lines. I was a short walk away so I didn't mind going and waiting or booking before I left after a treatment.

This place was everything I hoped for and more!

I went to this spa twice a day for five days, absolutely loved it! After my first massage I received a 20% discount.

My husband loved it too, defiantly get the happy hour massage (1 hr dry massage plus 1 hour oil massage $33 AUD for two people). The massage with two therapists each (yes four therapists in one room) was absolutely awesome and I recommend this indulgence!

I emailed and booked in for my first day massage as I did not want to be disappointed on my first day. It took a few days to get a response but I did get a booking.

Did I say I loved this place!

This spa is located beside our favourite restaurant and we are so glad to have found it after spending 10 times more at our hotel's spa. The staff were superb and, for about $15 USD, I had a 2-hour scrub down with spices and a heavenly massage followed by an aromatherapy floral bath. Everything is clean and the atmosphere was serene. Look for the small Home Spa sign on the street as you can easily miss it if you're not paying attention. This is one of the best spa services I've ever had and I only wish I found it earlier in my stay as I would have tried every service. Enjoy!

By reading this, you're already ahead of the majority of tourists in Bali that don't research where to get massages and end up at the mercy of some local lady who just sets up shop at for any untrained tourist that stops in.

Good. Take my advice and set up your appointment here and quit researching where to go. The value is phenomenal. They have happy hour prices from 9am-11am. A 2-hour Balinese massage cost me around $11 U.S. That's right! And it was legit.

It's located slightly off the street with a black sign with lettering reading "Home Spa".
