We are a low-volume boutique operator based in the Nusa Dua area in the south of Bali that is focussed primarily on servicing the 5 star hotel market. We offer both motorized and non-motorized water sports. All of our scuba diving, courses, tours and activities are strictly private, we do not mix groups. We are an authorised PADI 5 Star Dive Centre (S-21462).

I was tempted not to review this place so I could keep it a secret but that wouldn't be fair to the fantastic staff that work there. We didnt know it at the time but most of the water sports are done on the most crowded nusa dua beach you will ever see. Not this place. They have their own private beach that is quiet, clean and secluded and it was a blessing finding this company. We did all the activities and it was so much fun. The staff are well trained and caring and safety is taken very very seriously. The food and drink were standard Bali prices and they did inflate them to try and rip off their guests - this was much appreciated. But for my girlfriend and I it was all the extra little bits they did that made us feel like royalty for the day. For example, they could have just sent a driver to pick us up on his own but they also sent along our own private host (Jerling) who also stayed with us all day to look after our every need. So that our traveling time would be shorter to the water sports area they sent out a boat to pick us up so we didn't need to spend an extra 30 mins in traffic. The taxi cars were top notch as we're the equipment etc. My GF and I couldn't believe our good luck in choosing this place and not the other water sports providers. On a private note: thank you Jerling for making our day so special. And to Rhonda (the owner) you can be very proud of the staff you have employed and trained.

I didnt really participate in their watersports, but I would like to say that the beach is a MUST to visit, its really different compared to Kuta Beach, the sands are really white and clean, the water is really clear, and the scenery is really great.
Be sure to make use of their free locker facility as it will be really helpful for keeping your clothes and stuff.

Four of us snorkeled with Bali Jet Set in January, 2015. We were picked up by boat right at the dock that our cruise ship tender arrived at and taken directly to the Jet Set shop to be fitted for our equipment (which was included in the very reasonable price). We were taken to a more remote part of the reef to do our snorkelling than the very busy tourist/resort area, which made the experience much more worthwhile. One of the 3 men who accompanied us on our boat ride actually snorkeled with us to point out areas and marine life to us that we may not have seen on our own.
From the very beginning of our communication with Rhonda of Bali Jet Set, we were amazed at her quick replies, the pride she showed in Bali as well as for her company. She met us at the shop personally to welcome us and show us around. Rhonda is a passionate advocate for abandoned and lost dogs in Bali and part of all of the company sales is donated to this cause.
We were extremely impressed with our experience with Bali jet Set and with Rhonda and her crew! Thank you for a great time!!

To date we have assisted over 150+ families in the Tanjung Benoa area with sterilizing and vaccinating their companion animals.

We had booked Bali Jet Set Dive and Marine Sport for Sea Walker. The pick up car from the hotel was good . However , when we reached their office, it was completely deserted. They took advanced payment for the Sea Walking as well the photography. We were then told , as it is low tide , they will take us to another starting point. However , we were taken to another company for the activity, which charges lesser for both the sea walker and photo. Leaving the cost apart , the quality of everything was poor. From the changing area to the boat to the gear was very poor. Also their diving site , it was very commercialised and dirty , not the natural diving site you would see otherwise. Would not recommend it.

Let's be clear up front, you were not cheated.
Firstly, we wish our facility was full. Sadly the coronavirus (you may have heard of this yes?) has hit many tourism businesses here hard, including ours. We have had to let some staff go and it may come to the point of closing it down if it continues. To say it was "deserted" is completely callous with absolutely zero empathy or understanding as to why. When you travel do you think about how your actions and words impact the local people and community or are you just looking for a cheap holiday? People are losing their jobs right now and kids aren't going to school because if they don't pay they won't let them in. That comment in itself is selfish.
When you arrived yes the tide was low and in the area where our facility is we cannot get the boats out. So we took you to board the boat through another company that does not have a beach or much of a facility to take you out to the pontoon for the sea walk. But as they operate in the harbour the boat can go out Now, as for prices, did you compare their facilities? Did you ask if the price included the commission to your hotel? Insurance? Transportation from/to your hotel? No you didn't. If you would have asked you would have found out that by the time they added those BACK you would have had to pay about a similar price. We don't play games and lure you in with cheap prices and then top it all up with the extras. You were comparing apples and oranges sir.
We should not have used their facilities for your changing room, because the standard in Bali is very low in most places for hygiene and cleanliness, that's our mistake. We should have had you change at ours and return to ours but as it would have added another 30 minutes to your excursion your guide used the other companies facilities thinking that it wouldn't make a difference. It did, obviously, we spoke to him, his mistake.
As for the diving site, yes, it's not very good anymore. Cheap mass tourism has allowed few companies to reinvest in the environment. People here need to understand resources are finite. We did reef restoration and clean-ups, but it was difficult to get anyone else interested. This time of the year in particular, the garbage is terrible in Bali, it gets worse every year as you may have noticed in front of your 5 star hotel the beach was covered with garbage and plastic for the past week as people try madly to clean it up every day. Bali has some serious environmental challenges to address and very quickly sadly.
We take your feedback and comments very seriously as we want all guests to have a good time, but sadly the Sea Walk is one thing we are considering taking off of our activity list due to the environmental degradation in the area which is something that is beyond our control and until people start to care and the government steps up it will only continue to get worse.

The boat is borderline seaworthy. The hydraulic steering for the tandem 200hp outboards is loose and ready to break any day. In order to use the “toilet” in the bow, my wife had to stand in an inch of gasoline, that covered the floor of the bow. The trim on the motors also did not work. Whether or not the motors would start after being shut off was anybody’s guess.
Fishing gear was completely dilapidated, every rod/reel had something that didn’t function properly.
We had to show the crew how to use the rods. As in how to set the drag and release the bail, the most basic of fishing knowledge was absent.
“Jackie” who I assume was supposed to be our translator, did not understand us and nor did we him.
The best part was the nap in the car back to our hotel.
Save your money. Do NOT go fishing with this company. As for other activities, I personally would also look for another option.

We really are sorry you felt the day was awful.
It would have been good if you could have given us your feedback prior to return to your hotel rather than telling the staff it was "ok", we could have addressed your concerns interactively prior to you trying to destroy our small business on Trip Advisor. That would have been fair.
Despite being unhappy with just about everything you forgot to mention all the fish you caught.
As for English skills, we employ local people who work hard and are studying English. They don't have masters degrees and deal with a number of different accents, Jackie is a good guy and tried hard we will remove him from the position until such time his English skills are better.
We note and take all your comments on board.

We've already been to other marine sports places on the main road of Tanjung Benoa for jet skiing, tubing and parasailing, but were not completely satisfied due to crowded, run down and dirty facilities. We were happy to have discovered this place on the internet with all the rates clearly published (that means you can fully trust without having to bargain), and decided to try this place by calling for a round-trip hotel transfer for a reasonable fee as our hotel was outside the free transfer zone. Upon arrival, we were amazed with the facility - it was clean, well maintained, and located on the secluded part of Tanjung Benoa where very little marine sports activities and boat traffic were. It felt like we were at a private marine sports club. Especially, our kids, 13 years old daughter and 7 years old son, enjoyed the place so much, we spent 4 hours jet skiing, tubing, eating (yes, their hotdog and nachos were great!) and relaxing. Parasailing was available, however we could not do it that day due to strong and unstable wind condition. We were very pleased with friendly owner and crew. The owner, Rhonda is a passionate advocate for abandoned and lost dogs. Her business subsidizes the cause. Not only she adopts the dogs, she properly vaccinates and sterilizes them for their well-being. This place is highly recommended.

Wow thank you so very much for taking the time to post such a fantastic Trip Advisor review for us! We are absolutely delighted that you were pleased with your day with us and enjoyed the facilities, food and water sports fun!
You are correct in pointing out that we operate in an area that is a bit remote and very private. The result is that we have our own private beach free of beach hawkers and the general public. The area for the activities also has little boat traffic, this also means a much safer and more exclusive water sports experience as you do not have to constantly be watching for other boats and jet ski’s. We have the entire ocean pretty much to ourselves!
Our only partners are 5 star hotels and we also take bookings directly from guests via the web, phone and referrals. We are a low volume boutique provider that is focused primarily on servicing the 5 star hotel market here in Bali. We are also quite different than other providers in that everything we do is strictly private, we do not mix groups on activities, courses, tours, etc. Guests are free to chill out a bit also enjoy our private beach, billiards area and swimming pool. Our prices are also all inclusive, we do not lure you in with cheap prices and then cut your activities short or charge you for all the annoying little extras like equipment, water, etc like many of our competitors do. Further, rather than stress our guests out with all the bargaining that oftentimes goes on here in Bali, we take the approach to charge one fair price for all guests that visit our facility which are clearly published on our web-site and in our brochure. This price allows us to continue to maintain our high standards of service, facilities and equipment. It also allows us to remunerate our staff fairly and give a little back to the community which we feel is very important.
Nyoman Sugita owns and operates Bali Jet Set. His wife Rhonda helps out with the charity programs for the company including working with the environment (reef restoration and recycling), working with HIV/Aids children (via the Rotary Club of Nusa Dua) and also our animal welfare programme via our charity Jet Set Petz.
We feel that as a socially responsible business it is important to give back to the community within which we operate. When we opened our facility on the west side of Benoa we were quite shocked to see the number of sick and injured animals in the road, parks, etc. We were also concerned that many animals in the area had not been vaccinated against disease, in particular rabies. Many local people simply did not have the access or the funds to properly take care of their companion animals. So we embarked upon a programme to make things better for the community around us. For every guest that books with us we set aside USD1 that goes towards sterilizing, vaccinating and assisting people with their animals in the Tanjung Benoa area. We also hand out free collars, food and medicines where needed. To-date since we started the programme 18 months ago, we have vaccinated, sterilized and assisted over 150+ animals in the area. Whilst we are not a rescue shelter we do help at times to rehome and adopt out cats and dogs that are homeless. We also have a number of our own that were thrown away as pups or found starving in the road that we rescued and rehabilitated, many of whom love to ride on the jet skis!

We were here to try scuba diving ,parasailing ,jet ski and wakebording.the professional people here were very friendly and guided us well.n even the bathrooms are nice.the day we went it was not windy and less preferable for parasailing.we thought we were not gonna try that during the tour because we didn't time in the tour to plan it on another day.but they confidently took us around and we totally enjoyed the experience.even when we mailed them,Rhonda was kindly explaining the queries we had.must try

We charge one fair price for all guests that visit our facility that allows us to continue to maintain our high standards of service, privacy (all tours, courses and activities are strictly private), equipment and facilities. Our prices are not negotiable. We also accept a limited number of bookings each day so that there are not long wait times for the activities and guests may enjoy the facilities including the private beach, billiards area, restaurant and swimming pool at their leisure (all included in the prices). The activity times that we publish are also what are delivered as minimums. Some providers do offer cheaper prices but then they cheat to cut costs and shorten the activity times. For example, our parasailing is 5 minutes of flying time, many of our competitors quote “one round” which is actually less than one minute.
We will also translate your review for our entire team to read. They will also be delighted as when good reviews come in on Trip Advisor they all receive a small bonus. We also feel that it is important that they know what our guests are saying about us.

Summary:
This was my first dive. I don't know swimming and I had never done snorkeling before this dive. And yet the dive was one of the best moments in my life...
You may find it a bit costly compared to few other diving agencies, but when I compare my experience with others, none of them got a dedicated PADI and SSI certified instructor...
The practice session:
I spent around 1 hour practicing in the pool and was taken to sea only after I was confident and comfortable... The instructor was both patient and passionate about what he was doing... He explained me all the tricks and precautions a few times and helped me perform all the various precautions in the pool a few times and made me comfortable...
Rent a Camera:
I rented a camera from them and for 30USD I got a nice CD with tons of pics and two vedios...
The experience in the sea:
As Rohnda says "there is a whole new world waiting for you down there"...
The underwater experience in sea was compared to nothing... You know it's fun when fishes touch your bald head and go :-P
I do not think, the trip had been equally fun if I had not come across Bali Jet Set Dive and Marine Sports and had not met Rhonda and her team...
Other facilities:
You have good options to buy for eating and drinking after/before the dive... The price is reasonable (not inflated)... There is a nice bathing facility with Soap and Shampoo etc... You have lockers and changing room... After the dive you can click some nice pictures around the place on the beach and flowers/plants on the premises...
Rohnda the owner as a person:
Rhonda was nice and kind. She had also helped me get transportation for my day trip (with Mr. Seleb Wayan). The service of Mr. Wayan was quite economical and great. I went to East Bali and North Bali with him. He had quite good knowledge about Bali and he goes on long day trips, 2-3 day trips with tourists to East Bali, North Bali and West Bali... It was nice of Rhonda to introduce me to him... She was more than happy to help me plan my trip, which otherwise would had been quite boring since I was travelling alone.

We are also delighted that you enjoyed your first scuba diving experience – you are correct it is a whole different world under the water and a very amazing one at that! We are also happy that you have all the photos and videos to serve as a pleasant memory of your day with us!
Whilst our prices may be slightly higher than those of other dive centres, there are a number of key differences. Firstly, all of our dive tours, courses and activities are strictly private, we do not mix groups. This provides for a much more relaxed, exclusive and safe experience as you can go at your own pace. As the dive guide was dedicated just to you, so even though you did not have strong swimming skills you were still able to do the dive. Our prices are also inclusive of transportation from/to your hotel, all equipment rental, private dive boat, insurance, drinks, soap, shampoo and towels. There are no hidden charges (eg. 5USD for a mask, 5 USD for fins, etc) and we like to say all you have to do is “bring your swimwear and your sunblock and be ready to have a wonderful day out, we provide the rest”. We even have sunblock for free if you forget yours!
We are also delighted that you were happy with Seleb’s services, he is a wonderful guy and also a very safe driver which is very important here in Bali as sometimes the roads can be a bit tricky!

My husband and two friends went diving and I snorkeled in Tulamben over a sunken ship. We were picked up at the Grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua then went to their facility where we were fitted with equipment. Since my husband had not been diving for many years there was a quick check out in the Gali Jet Set Diving Pool. We were very impressed with Bali Jet Set's concern for safety. All of the equipment was first rate. For the four of us, there was a driver and two diving helpers. The experienced diver helpers were very friendly and made sure each of us had a great experience! The trip included a nice lunch at a restaurant on the beach where we came out of the water. The wreck where we dived and snorkled had tons of colorful fish and the water was warm with incredible visibility. Altogether a wonderful day with a scenic drive as well!

The USAT Liberty Shipwreck in Tulamben is one of our favourite places to dive and snorkel on the island with a huge variety of fish and normally very good visibility. As the top of the wreck starts at 4 meters it is a great place for both snorkeling and diving.
We are also very happy that you were impressed with our safety standards. At Bali Jet Set the safety of our guests is our utmost and top priority. We are also pleased that you found our staff helpful and friendly.
We will specially recognize the team that was with you on the day for a job well done.

Our experience with Jet Set Dive was undoubtedly the best of all our outdoor activities in Bali. There are particularly three reasons because of which I would rate JSM as real 5 star water sports club i.e. 1st being the most friendly, trained and easy going staff, 2nd being new US imported equipment, 3rdly being the flexibility of owner (Rhonda) in adjusting their customer requirement/needs. In our case, we were accompanied by our 4 years old daughter, with whom one of us stayed while other did the activity. e.g. in case of flying fish it was suppose to be for 2 person/one go however Rhonda looking at our situation asked one of her staff to occupy the 2nd person side. In this way I & my wife both went for flying fish one after another. Also the parasailing experience was indeed memorable so as banana boat which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed as well. 2 thumbs up for Rhonda and her team for providing such professional yet customer oriented service.
