It was short 20 minute trip to turtle island in glass bottom boat. In island we will sea so many turtles of various size. You can touch many of them. Take picture with many animals like bat, parrot, snake. Kids will love it. It was nice time spending in turtle island.

Our driver recommended this tour but what a total rip off.......island could be accessed by road when I looked it up afterwards.boat is just taking you from one end to the other by doing a detouring around bigger boats and activities happening in the bay...you have to walk to the shore as the boats are not able to get there...so... Quick trip to see the turtles. Plenty of opportunities for photos and with lots of other animals too. Snack bar & souvenir photo kiosk.

The advertising for this place is completely exaggerated. We wanted to leave as soon as we got in. The whole organisation is just to lure in money and idiotic and senseless people who only care about taking photos with animals. The turtles are in extremely terrible living conditions. Dirty water with not enough space and too many turtles in the... More

I went to this place and it's just seems they are after your money. We paid to go then when we got there a lady pounced on us asking for a donation. She also got someone who works there to take photos, they encourage you to buy , which I declined. She also told that the guy who bought us... More

It is a shambolic place that should be shut down as all the animals they have in captivity are in awful conditions. We found it a really uncomfortable experience. Also the boat ride you take there is a total waste of money. Just do not entertain the idea of going there at all. There is apparently a proper turtle conservation... More

Our family went to "Turtle Island" today. If I had read the Trip Advisor reviews before hand we would not have gone, but I didn't and we did. As others have commented the trip is completely miss-sold: it is not a boat trip to a tropical island, it is a power boat ride up a shipping lane to a small... More

When you get to Bali and find yourself a driver, they usually carry books with them filled with things for you to do and unfortunately turtle island is one of them! I wouldn't recommend going here if you actually care about turtles they are extremely cruel. The turtles are seperated in age groups (I guess you would say) and there... More

Taken for trip to Turtle Island as part of a day trip taking in uluwatu and Tanah lot( which were both great by contrast) We arrived and were taken to large reception area and given menu of activities which all seemed overpriced. We thought turtle island sounded nice-but they wanted over 1,560000 rupiah (£90) for a one hour trip for... More

We visited Turtle Island yesterday, 15 July 2016. What a disappointing experience! The tour company had filthy toilets and changing rooms. An absolute rip-off: their advertised cost to get to Turtle Island was $200 AU for us, a family of four, to get to the island. They dropped the price to $150, which if we had known what we were...
