No 21 bus from Thun/Interlaken or the boat service on Lake Thun. About a 15 min walk up the waterfall front to reach the top. The caves are closed in winter. Good time to enjoy the views of the lake and waterfall without disturbances.

One of the best touristic attractions in Interlaken with stunning nature. The caves are amazingly beautiful from inside about more than a kilometer in the mountains which provides a joyful tour of exploring one the best sightseeing in Interlaken. Need to climb a little for 15-20 minutes to reach the entry point but once you are on top, the view... More

A pretty cool series of caves that are deep in the mountains of the alps! I will admit that there were sections where people were pushing up against me and I was squeezed into rocks and I was pretty unconfortable. It was still cool to see and an experience. My advice is to not take the tour.

A great place to experience the water world deep inside maintains. The water even tastes very well and is full of minerals. Check out the mirror lake. The water is so clear and does not move at all so it is like a mirror.

We came here with friends who live nearby, and really enjoyed the whole experience. There is a pretty good hike up the mountainside in front of a neat waterfall, and you can get through the cavern in a little more than an hour with kids in tow. Most of the way is really well lit and there are adequate walkways... More

The St. Beatus caves are very interesting, especially their history. It was a very nice experience and I recommend it to everyone. It is very easy to reach either by bus or boat. The new museum is very nice and gives you a lot of details.

We visited the caves on our way to Interlaken. The short hike to the caves is beautiful, and the kids enjoyed the playground at the top. The guided tour was interesting, albeit short and limited in terms of informational content. Make sure you bring a warm sweater - it is quite chilly inside the caves.

This being the obvious place to go on a wet day the caves were busy when we visited. We had researched the website but there was no information there about the tour itself. Only guided tours were available that day - not self-guided. When buying tickets we mentioned that our daughter had an ankle injury and asked if this was... More

We found this before we came across Grottes de Vallorbe. I love the history and story behind it, of the monk scaring away the dragon on behalf of the timid locals. You have to love caves to enjoy the slow walk, pondering the wonders and power of nature. I loved this visit and there is plenty to see if you... More

we were hesitant to visit it because of time shortage, but we didn't regret the very nice walk between the rocks, observing the art of nature and listening to sound of water
