The caves were a great experience and helped fill in some unscheduled time during our trip! The total cost was CH 49 and it was the least expensive thing we did on the trip! Some advice: 1. Parking is on the street. We drive a...More

Many places in Switzerland have water falls and caves. This one is a must to visit! It's amazing what formed many many years ago.

The cave is an interesting and fun attraction. If you go with the guide it takes about 30 minutes to get to the end and about the same to return on your own. The cave colors are special as well as a couple grottoes and...More

Spent a rainy afternoon here that was more than worthwhile. Ignore the reviews about it being the same all the way through - endless variety, thundering water, striking cavern spaces. Take your time, don’t join a group and soak it all up. The app available...More

We were traveling as a family. The 4 year old daughter and the 65 year old grandpa easily made the climb from the base in 20 minutes. We reached faster at the top, while taking panoramic photos of the turquoise lake from there! Water and...More

The cave is interesting and quite long. About 30 minutes walk one way. It more or less the same all along the way, so if you get tired in the middle, no need to continue to the final point, as the way back is the...More

My wife and I came here, but since we were "ballin' on a budget" we didn't pay for a tour of the caves. We just enjoyed the architecture and the beautiful views of the waterfall and the lake. Must see!!

We visited the caves during the June 2019 heat wave that ran rampant throughout Europe. The caves were cool. We got some exercise. Perfect for a 100 degree Fahrenheit day.

It is slightly slippery at places, but there are railings to hold to. If you tread carefully, and preferably use a belt to support the child on the back or front, that frees up your hands, you should be okay. And do plan for... More
