The movie was great and they had a lot of amazing memorabilia. Be sure to take time to read about the weaponry and other items. Very interesting! We really enjoyed our visit. We spent an hour or two here.

There’s a huge amount of stuff in this museum. Lots of guns, ammo and bits and bobs. A good video at the end and some vehicles outside. It’s not as good as some but worth a visit.

I expected the museum to be much larger but it did have quite a few interesting exhibits. The exhibit about how the floating harbors were constructed and used was especially interesting.

Lots of things to see. Lots of equipment from both sides. Kind of a self guided thing. There is also a short movie to watch. Very close to the beaches.

We found this museum to be one of the best D-Day history museums of the many in the Normandy area that cover the D-Day times. Do not miss this one on a trip to the Omaha Beaches area.

After seeing the beach itself, it is worthwhile to visit this small museum, to get a bit more of the atmosphere of those momentous days. The movie clips are excellent, and so are the displays of weapons, uniforms, etcc.

Very disappointing. Seemed a random set of artefacts with little thought to the thought or story being portrayed. by far the poorest of numerous museums visited over 3 days

So disappointing on every level. A yard sale of a museum with department store mannequins draped in Nazi and Allied costumes, along with weapons and material. Missed opportunities to represent the full horror and, ultimately, dignity of this conflict.

this is not a particuarly big museum, but you could easily spend a few hours in here, taking in all the details and information. There is certainly a lot to read, and lots to see. When looking at the displays, you need to take your...More
