One of the great and marvelous historical site across the country. There are many other Mahals as well besides Darbar mahal. You can visit darbar mahal after appointment or official permission because the site is now under Military command.

Darbar Mahal is a royal palace in the city of Bahawalpur. The palace was built by Bahawal Khan V for his wife. It was completed in 1905. Since 1971 this palace is in the control of armed forces and is not open for general public.

Awesome place...... it's a historical place. There are very rare things in wich the mahal... the old jails for prisoner's. ... caves.... old nawab chairs pictures and history .

Must visit place if you are in Bahawalpur , tour will take blend of British Colonial era and Nawab's life style , good place to visit .

I had a chance to visit this beautiful, well preserved palace at least three times. I can go there one hundred times and still wont feel bored.
