Unique sinkholes
Oct 2016 • Couples
We took the Bus from Baise to Leye (3 hours ride!),there we spent a night in the Moonshine Hotel near to the city centre - high standard and quiet cheap.
From there we took a public bus to the Dashiwei geo park.
The bus stop is diagonal from the hospital downtown. There you ask for the destination.
After 30min you are at the entrance of the park. A combi- ticket for the park an the lotus cave (which is in downtown Leye in front of the central bus station) is 128yuan. The geo park is not really a hiking place, a little open car takes you to the sinkholes and the caves. The views are great , the caves are also impressive but they put lights in different colours in all edges and play loud atmospheric music .(to much!!) So this place is unique but not the best spot for travelers who are looking for adventures .

splendid work of nature

Leye was a little known hillside county until the international expedition explored and discovered a cluster of previously unknown pits. The sinkholes or collapsed caves, several hundred meters underground, were formed millions of years ago by some unusual geological movements. What a magnificent creation of nature! Absolutely a world-class quality tourism resources.

Unbelievably spectacular collapsed caves on a massive scale
May 2011 • Solo
Well served with public transport, the tiangkeng park is extremely impressive. The world's most extensive collection of collapsed caves (tiankeng in Chinese), are absolutely huge and will take your breath away. The deepest is well over 700 meters straight down and even has a virgin forest at the bottom, with species of animal found nowhere else on the planet.
