Me and my wife were diving with Alexis and the rest of the Green Shark team on the first week of January and it was an outstanding experience. As many others have said here, the centre is very well-kept and spacious, with the high-quality aqualung equipment and great, professional stuff.

Alexis, a master diving instructor, runs a tight but fun ship in the heart of La Restinga. With a strong emphasis on safety, teaching and environmental awareness The Green Shark will make you a more inspired, sensitive and importantly, a better diver. The sites we visited over a five day, 10 dive package were sensational. All the instructors and boat skippers were really friendly and extremely professional. The well organised, well equipped, spacious centre also offers some unusual extras like yoga sessions to help improve breathing technique and marine biology classes to help you fully appreciate all the amazing things you will see underwater. In a cool little seaside village with many diving centres to choose from I thoroughly recommend The Green Shark. Thanks again to the team for a fantastic adventure that I will remember for a very long time!

Title says it all. But as a divemaster with 500 (difficult and cold) dives under the belt, I was especially impressed by Alexis, founder. Short but excellent briefings, made you feel safe, thinking about everything. I have no problem with guides saying "we are all big boys, lets go!". But Alexis inspired me to be a better diver. Thank you for that. The other guides also were warm and enthousiastic, no complaints there. It is nice to see the better dive companies in that small village work together if it helps the client. Jeff from taxidiver us a real night dive specialist and was called in to be our guide for a harbour night dive. I really recommend this! Enormous rays, octopus and other beauties can and will be seen here. I will come back and it will be with the Green sharks. Rollin.

Green Shark has new aqualung equipment, a spacious well laid out store good training well maintained boat and excellent skippers and dive masters. Our only gripe was that the Nitrox compressor wasn't working (they had been waiting months for the required part to be shipped) The diving was great 20+ meters of viz (which we were told is bad for the area) lots of macro life and reef fish, the odd bit of coral and (if you're lucky) a manta or shark or two.
