We thoroughly enjoyed this outing. It was an incredibly beautiful, sunny day. We walked from the lower parking lot to the lighthouse. The first portion of the walk was paved, and after the upper parking lot it was a rocky trail (this may be difficult...More

Food was tasty and fresh. The bread was like none that I had ever tasted! Next time I would probably order one picnic meal to share, and an extra lemonade. Nice day by the ocean.

Such a unique opportunity to have a picnic lunch from the lighthouse. Book far in advance, we booked in May for our end of August picnic. Food was delicious, only a few choices but everything was very good. It was quite windy when we were...More

This is a must do, just about q hour from St. John's. Hike is very doable and lunch was great you can sit in or take basket and blanket outside. Views are amazing here and sitting out hillside is really nice. It's 27.00 per adult...More

This was one of our highlights. You better book this weeks, if not months in advance. Once you are there, you order your picnic lunch, which was absolutely delicious. You take your lunch basket, your blanket, and go find a spot to sit, eat, and...More

Have a great lunch on the grounds of a lighthouse, watch the fog roll in, walk the grounds, and take in the scenery of this really cool spot. Great food, and vegetarian options to boot.

The location is incredible but there is little motivation to handle more than a few customers per day. People are paying for an experience NOT food therefore increase # of customers per day and be 300% more efficient! I did not go there for fresh...More

Took my wife here on her birthday for a picnic lunch, and am so glad I did. The food is very good and fresh. And the scenery is breathtaking. Very quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We certainly don’t get anything like this in Toronto!

This by far was one of our top highlights on our trip. Ferryland is about an hour drive from st.john’s. Once you arrive at the site there is plenty of parking and you can either walk up to the lighthouse (about 20mins) or there is...More

It is not possible to drive to the lighthouse. For gluten free options it would be best to go to the Tea Room located close to Witless Bay on the main road. The views out to the islands are lovely!
