The trail by the Tamar is lovely and caters for all forms of activities. It has good parking and an on-site cafe and shop. You can also walk your dog which seems to be very popular.

After going for a good walk it was decided to call in for lunch. As the other family had two dogs the decision was based on this being a dog friendly place. Unfortunately the people had that taken it over and were still ‘getting there’....More

The tamar Valley is a very special place and the trail makes the most of it. I personnely like to walk it, but you can ride a bicycle or run around all the good trails. Be aware it can be very hard also.

Trails are really good and steeped In history. Great for people walking to the cafe for lunch from miles away, which was closed for no reason. Proper let down. Had to walk to Gunnislake for lunch. Which was also rubbish.

Due to parking restrictions horse and pony riders can no longer use the trails. There are certain times when it is allowed but not convenient at all.

This is a very good value activity. The car park costs £2 with free entry to all the trails. You can get a reasonable cup of tea in the café and they have a walking trail map available from which you can plan your walk....More

A lovely 2 hours strolling around the woods. A carpet of bluebells and beautifully peaceful. We chose the brown route, which was not for anyone with mobility problems or young children. £1 car park charge for 2 hours. Would definitely return and try the cafe...More
