This is an enormous expanse of sand for southern European standards. The main attraction is surfing, but swimming and sunbathing are also an option especially in high tides when the channel gets filled with water. Some nice cliff walks too. And wonderful views.

Great beach for surfing. Very long and hard access, unsuitable beach for elderly or disable people. There is a bar on the beach.

Just amazing. The cliffs of this beach just made one of greatest view i ever had. The ocean is so wild, the air is clean and water is refreshing to bath in. Portuguese nature at is best.

Just such a beautiful beach! Mostly for surfing but it's so relaxing and beautiful just to stroll on the beach, but check with some surfer when the low tide is ;)

It is an incredible beach, just like it looks like in the pictures. Amazing, long walk across the sand dunes to the beach. A small section of it is guarded so good for kids and safe, but much of the time it was red flagged...More

Magic spot! Very beautiful, not too many people and great spot to (learn to) surf. One small bar, no toilet. Topspot!

Yes dogs are allowed but you should try to walk away from the beginning of the beach where everyone normally stays. The beach is extensive with plenty of space for you to walk the dog and sit and sunbathe away from everyone... More
