Unfortunately we were there on a very misty day, but this also somehow added to the experience. It is one of the 'deepest'/largest beaches I've ever been to, halfway from the car park to the water we felt like we were in the desert!! Drive past the main car park and up the hill for amazing views of the beach... More

Lovely beach, beautiful view, great waves. Because it is quite windy (especially the day we went) it was cold, but great beach for surflessons

Stunning unspoiled, undeveloped, long beach with one nice little bar on it. Tip: parking at the top of the hill and walking down the path is easier than parking below and walking over the dunes

Very popular with kite-surfers. I don't think I have ever seen a sport that makes me feel quite so inadequate/envious of those who can. Stronger winds than Amado beach just up the road and on one occasion was closed for surfers (when Amado was not)

More for surfers than for a nice cooling dip in the sea. Long way to walk from the car park. Nothing special in my opinion. Small cafe available

Spectacular beach. With a small snack bar on the beach. The further right you go, the less people and more private the beach is.

This beach is amazing with breathtaking spectacular views. Great waves for surfing and windsurfing. We went in August and there weren't too many people. Definitely visit!!!

Big stretch of beach, lagoon area for kids. Beach bar/restaurant, massages on beach. Remember an umbrella. Parking area busy

Beautiful beach ideal for surfers (and swimmers). Beware occasional strong currents (observe flag!). Lifeguards are on duty in high season. The parking area can get a bit crowdy in the season and expect a walk of around 10 minutes (slow, children's tempo) to reach the beach. Thereis a nice surf-style bar on the beach, offering drinks, snacks and ice cream.

We spent the afternoon walking this beach. There is one area with a life guard where most people stay. They had surf lesson there. We walked and soon you have lots of space to yourself on this very wide beach. There is a nude section part way down. Lots of place to find privacy. The water was the most warm... More
