My son (17) fully enjoyed his surf lesson. We paid 40 euros through our hotel (Aldeida da Pedralva) for a half day class, which is 1.5 hours on top of getting ready (finding board and getting suit; both included). They asked us to present ourselves at 10am but had to wait until 10:50am to start getting the board etc. If you are waiting for a family member or friend to surf you can go for a hike up the hills behind the beach, which is part of the fisherman’s trail.

Excellent introduction to surfing, great teachers and amazing setting!
We are a family of three who spent five days at the camp. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the communal facilities are kept very clean and there is a very good breakfast and transport to the amazing Amado Beach where the classes are held.
We highly recommend the experience for families, and individuals of all ages. We loved it!

Great place to stay and surf! Wonderfull view around the beach. Nice waves for begginers. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Camp is in the nature few minutes far from the beach - you can go there and back by provided bus and do some shopping in carrapeteira. I wish I could spend more time in there :-)
Thanks - Peter

Amado Surfcamp is an amazing destination if you want to try something new and mix up holiday time with learning new things (i.e. surfing). Shout out to Fibi and Kiko who were looking after the surf camp as well as to all the instructors who were patient with us when teaching us from scratch how to surf being incredibly patient. Me and my girlfriend are already thinking of going back there for another 7-10 days of fun! Keep up the great work team Amado and hopefully see you soon this year!!

I found a group of excellent human beings on a serious surf quest! Lots of synergy and good vibes. If you want to get your surf on, I think this is an excellent experience. The teachers are fun, knowledgable and motivating. It turns out to be a surf TEAM. If you stay at the camp and get the package, it turns out to be a great deal! Además, si quieres practicar tu inglés, es una de las mejores maneras, ya que vas a estar rodeado de alemanes y otras nacionalidades. No hablan español, ¡así que matas dos pájaros con un tiro! ¡Te pones fit y practicas tu inglés. ¡Maravilloso! I don't think you can neat it anywhere to be honest!

Loved my time in the camp. Everyone working there are some of the most warm, friendly, funny, chilled out souls I've met. And the surf instructors are great: patient, positive, experienced. Shout out to Dean, Max, Fabienne, Ben and all the rest. I will be back.

My young adult som and I had a memorable Easter week with Amado surfers! As first-timers, we felt early welcome and got excellent instructions! Excellent location; great advantage that one can pick the best conditions on either side of the Cabo Vicente! Both beaches we visited were beautiful, although it's hard to beat Amado! The camp is beautiful, calm and a cool site to stay; much prefer it to staying in Sagres! People were so friendly! We were in fact so happy about the stay that we are returning this spring!

Best week of summer, friendly stuff/volunteers and full equipped camp. The camp is situated in beautiful nature about 2 km far from Carrapateira. All day you can surf at the beach which is really close. I recommend lend a car go around. The beach is good not only for beginners.
If you want to learn a surf and meet other surfers you have to go there!

Stayed in the camp for nearly two weeks. I traveled on my own but was included immediately. All guest have a healthy and diverse breakfast together in the morning, afterwards all going to the beach and surf. This is my favorite place in Europe.
