Take a Tik-e Tour or rent an e-bike and experience what Rarotonga has to offer. Tik-e Tours provide a range of services that includes around the island sight-seeing tours, wedding limos, private events, airport transfers and our "legendary" happy hour cocktail hop. We also offer e-bikes that are suitable for all fitness levels. With pedal assist and fully electric modes it’s easy to self-navigate around the island twice on one charge, and of course there’s no paying for fuel as you can charge the battery in your room. Explore the island in our earth friendly electric limousine Tuk Tuks or on an e-bike and show your support in being environmentally friendly.

Rent an electric bicycle instead of a scooter. The island roads are mostly flat, so the pedal assist mode is easy, and if you need a rest just use the battery power mode. You plug in the battery each night just like your mobile phone.
The staff at Tik -e Tours are super helpful and go above and beyond what is normal, so it is with pleasure to write a 5 star review for Tania and her Team.
There is a small spring loaded rack above the rear wheel to hold your beach towel and snorkel, or throw a light weight back pack in your luggage for those trips to the shops/markets to stock up on food and beverages.
Thanks Tania and Team for helping make our holiday on Raro a wonderful memory.

We hired two E bikes for our 9 days on Raro. The bikes were excellent quality and so much faster than the E bikes we have at home. We used the bikes for all our travel needs and it's cheaper than hiring a car and buying petrol. I was unlucky enough to experience three punctures but the tik-e team were there to come and get me back on the road at no extra charge.

As passengers on a 34 day cruise that was forced to cancel visits to most ports, we were able to visit Rarotonga. It is a wonderful island. We had a delightful experience thanks to Tania and her wonderful e-bike rental company. She did everything possible to get us on the bikes and plan our route. Our experience was one of the highlights of our cruise! Thanks Tania for a great day!!!

Omg goodness what a fantastic business. Tanya and her husband could have been more helpful and invested in our experience. I was the least experienced rider of our group and she wanted me to feel safe and confident. She set my bike up just for me and I started my trip feeling great. I finished my trip feeling awesome. I have done something out of my comfort zone and Tanya and her hubby helped me achieve that. Fantastic experience, it’s something everyone can and should do especially with these guys.

E bikes are a great way to get around the island if you're active and want the freedom to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed this "green" option. The bikes are generally hardy, no issues with gear changes or chains coming off. Brakes work well and suspension is as good as it gets for the island roads.
Both of us did run into electronic issues one separate days, but with some muscle power pedaled our way back and Tania and Paul were super helpful to get on replacements and on our way. Thank you both for accommodating us on our holiday!

E bike, Perfect way to explore the island. We hired them for 4 days and found them fun and easy to operate. Effortless way to see the island. Non stop around will take from about 50 minutes. We stopped at so many places that we probably would have driven right on by if in a car. Highly recommend to hire for a few days. Thank you Tik E Tours

We booked two ebikes for the full ten days in Raro. Great move! Excellent and friendly email confirmations and instructions for collection. On pickup we got all the info we needed to enjoy our time on the bikes. There’s just one size but they were able to be adjusted for the short one and the tall one! A basket on the back, helmets, locks and a friendly wave and we were off.
Ebikes are the perfect way to see the island, especially exploring off the beaten track ( although the soft sand did take me down one day😂). Easy to charge at night, safe to ride ( with lights included)… the only downside would be if it was raining.
And if, for any reason you need help, just give them a call and they will come to you and sort it out! Excellent service and local info and a chat about anything and everything. Totally recommend tik-e bikes!

By far one of the best ways I have travelled. I had the flexibility to do what I wanted when I wanted without relying on public transport while being environmentally friendly. The staff were happy to help us and offer tips for what to do on the island. I would 100% recommend this service to anyone!

Kia Orana! Thanks for your recommendation and its great to hear the e-bikes gave you flexibility while here on holiday...they're a great way to explore the island at your own pace. Had a great time on the cocktail sunset tour. Shane was amazing, very informative. We had so much fun. We all started out quiet but not at the end of the night. Great bars to go to. Really recommend

6 of us had the pleasure of going for a 3 hour tour with Tania in one of her tuk tuk's. It was the most relaxing enjoyable thing we did on our trip to Raro. Tania was full of interesting information about the island and the places and things we saw. We traveled some of the back roads and got a far better view than we did on our scooters and cars. Highly recommend this as a must do when in Rarotonga. Congrats Tania and Carl on an amazing business.

About NZ$22 /day from memory
So not the cheapest option to get around the island but the most fun
There were two of us staying in Muri so we got a ten trip bus concession to get to and from Aorangi to get the bikes.

I would focus on one half of the island, so you have time to stop and enjoy along the way. We went south when we got our bikes and pottered around to Muri beach...having said that, by time you get to Muri, you might as well carry on round and do the circuit. The team at Tik-e Tours are great, they’ll give you good advice too. It’s a lot of fun, go be adventurous🚴♀️
