About
Nestled behind a wide expanse of dunes and a sweeping sandy beach, multi-award-winning Elie Holiday Park at Shell Bay is a true hidden gem. Voted as the Best Visitor Attraction in Fife by Kingdom FM listeners, families have been enjoying holidays here for generations and are attracted by the unique location, fantastic entertainment, abundance of wildlife and the exciting Robinson Crusoe Adventure Park. Childhood memories are made here. From morning 'til dusk, there is so much to do and see. You can walk the coastal path, go rock-pooling, spot seals lolloping in the Forth, spy deer bobbing between the trees and, if you're lucky, you may even see a rare red squirrel! Kids can go wild at the Robinson Crusoe Adventure Park and enjoy the exciting arcades in the Smugglers' Cove Games Room. Couples will also love Elie Holiday Park. Explore the picturesque fishing villages, enjoy a walk around Ruddons Point (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and catch one of the local summertime festivals. In the evening, sample the tasty new menu at the Kincraig View Restaurant and live entertainment at Ruddons Bar.

Good park
Sep 2020 • Couples
Just returned from a 3 night break. Park was very quiet and relaxing. Shop has restricted hours 8-1 on the days we were there. Cafe open for takeaways only again restricted hours of 4-8. Food was tasty and good sized portions. Lots of walks around the area. We took the coastal path to Elie which was well worth it although not suitable for anyone with restricted mobility. The beaches were very quiet with a mixture of sandy stretches and rocky area with pools to explore. Would recommend if you want a relaxing time away.

First visit with tourer.
Sep 2019 • Couples
First impressions when you drive in is that the touring field looks a bit of a shambles. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were in the C section down near the beach. Quite a few of the pitches are not level, so take levellers with you. Pitches are on the small side. Once set up the power kept tripping when we were using the microwave . The microwave is only 800w, we had to switch a few things off to stop it from tripping the circuit breaker. Toilets and showers were warm and clean when we used them, annoyingly you have keep pressing the shower control every 10 seconds for it to stay on, water temp was good. Good sized club with reasonably priced drinks and entertainment the night we were there.
Great walks along the Fife coastal path towards Elie, although the condition of the paths are not good at some parts.
Would we return ? Yes definately

Brilliant site - returning guests
Aug 2019 • Family
This is the second time we have stayed at Elie in the touring pitch with my husband, one year old daughter and our dog. The beach is gorgeous and clean, the touring facilities are all spotless, and only a short walk to the entertainment club, which has entertainment on every night, reasonably priced for drinks, also a lovely play park area for children. The cafe on site is dog friendly and served great food at great prices. Will definitely be back again

Great relaxing break
Aug 2019
We rented a large static caravan from a private owner (4 McDermid Cresent Ms Sharron Sinden)
We had a great Monday to Friday break. Lovely tidy site and although there were lots of people around and lots of tourers on the tourer park it was very peaceful.
Good facilities, although to be honest we did not use many of them. There is a coffee shop bar and restaurant with a take away facility and a small 'corner shop' for newspapers and the like.

Feel Shell Bays standards slipping a bit this trip!
Aug 2019
After my third visit to Shell Bay, I felt some standards have dropped! The showers needed a bit of maintainance, some of them you had to jump around in water flow to get wet!
The electicity kept tripping!
A few years ago, my husband was only allowed to park caravan up then leave site as it was a transit van he was driving. Only vehicle available with towbar. This year their was a good few actual travellers on site, all with Transit vans. The travellers kept themselves to themselves but I know I felt a bit unsafe and uneasy.
I love Shell Bay and hope I can still visit but want to feel the safeness I have felt over the years and need reassurance that it will continue to be a safe, trouble free site.

Lengthy Wait
Jul 2019 • Family
This is a lovely site but spoiled by the lengthy wait for food & service at the Bistro Cafe. It wasn’t a one off as we visited two weekends in a row to see if there was any improvement. A few tweaks such as listing what flavours of ice-cream are available to the customer to enable the customer to choose before being served would make a huge difference. More staff as it appears only one person can be served at a time despite a long line of customers waiting. Table numbers would identify where food has to be delivered to rather than staff wondering around aimlessly. Such a shame as it has great potential.

Premier visit
Jun 2019 • Family
We chose this location as it was reasonably close to our home and I'm glad we did. A clean, well kept and maintained site. The showers and toilets were more than adequate and the restaurant and bars had both a good selection of drinks and food and friendly staff. We stayed in our motorhome but the static homes looked excellent to if that's your preference.
PS. The beaches and scenery were beautiful to.
