Once upon the time around 1990 there was a master confectioner who thought that all the existing chocolate creations on the market are simply a little bit too boring. So after business hours he started to explore in the quietness of his company’s back room...

Zotter is ranked amoung the top 10 chocolate manufacturers in the world and if you visit his factory you will understand why. A lot of attention is paid to fairtrade and using organic products. The tour itself is very informative and very well put together. You will defintely eat way too much chocolate, but who cares - it's lots of... More

I have been here twice and always was great. The chocholate is delicious and it is very clean. The zoo outside is nice place to walk. You just must visit this place.

Wau wau. I would like to give a huge points to the restaurant, which is in the garden beneath of Zotter Chocolate. The bio salad and soup was delicious and serve different was as is usual. About Zotter Chocolate was written enough and any more comments from my side. Enjoyed this area. Very good with child!

If you are interested in sweets you must visit this place. On your way through the factory you learn a lot about chocolate, taste a lot of chocolate and can take some extraordinary creations with you. The adjacent zoo is also worth a visit. It's a great place for families with children.

This place had so much chocolate tasting that I literally got sick. Don't overdo it as the better stuff is at the end of the tour. The cocoa drink is amazing (loved the cinnamon banana). I didn't love all of the flavors, but it was fun to sample and learn.

Zotter chocolate factory in Austria is the first one (there is one in Shanghai) and it is located 1,5 hours drive by car away from Vienna (most of the road is highway). As the place is pretty crowded, I recommend making a reservation for a certain time in advance. As everywhere, it is good if you go early in the... More

Great trip during bad weather. It is How chocolate is made from scratch. Interesting presentation through glass window where you can see the production and try all the delicious chocolate on the way. Of course you can buy them at the end as well.

What a great way to spend a day. The story of Josef Zotter was quite inspiring. The chocolate factory was really fun and interesting, not to mention quite yummy! My family and I enjoyed the animals and the gardens that are behind the factory. The food is very good at the restaurant. I would highly recommend a visit to Zotters!

Nice handmade chocolates - you can taste them and you can see how they are produced. We went there two times and I'm sure we will go there again.

Excellent idea for a family trip. When you go there on a trip you need to be hungry and even then you can not try everything. :D
