Lovely place to get an insight into yesteryear - well worth a visit, so much more than just transport. Lovely tea rooms with beautiful homemade cakes. Very friendly staff. Great prices for tickets valid for a year too.

Well worth the visit to Old Park Whitfield to see this gem of a record of the history of Dover. Mainly transport related, but many other general exhibits are on display. Thousands of items in addition to the vehicles. A real trip down memory lane!...More

We visited on an overcast day when it was quiet. We were pleased to be assisted to view some exhibits that would have otherwise been locked by a helpful member of staff. There is a large variety of exhibits, some of them 100 years old....More

Tucked away not far from the Whitfield roundabout and on a commercila estate lies this fascinating insight into past life and times. Old fire engines, police cars, motor bikes, lorries and buses. All displayed well and accessible. The shop fronts alone will take time to...More

Visited with our young son who loved the old time bus and coach as well as the numerous fantastically restored vintage motorbikes and cars. We also enjoyed the lovely, detailed model railway exhibit. This is a great place to spend a few hours and was...More

The museum and staff are great not overly big but the model train room is a fantastic delight. They have put alot of effort into creating a historical Street from Dover which is very interesting.
