Had lunch and ordered a salad with quinoa and avocado, both were frozen and tasted off! Waitress was very dismissive, will only stick to their hot food next time (mostly microwaved!).

You get what you pay for,
It's cheap but fills a hole and tastes ok,
Staff seem pleasant enough tho,
Drinks are very reasonable too ...

This pub is your typical Witherspoon's.. Very reasonably priced but the food and service always varies depending on what time of day.
The last time we visited the food was good but most tables were dirty and the place looked like it needed a scrub. People were moaning at the bar about waiting and lack of staff.

this pub is great value for drinks and food , often pop in for drinks the beer and spirts are both cheaper than other local pubs . the food is always good but if you go later in day they do sometimes run out of certain items . The staff are very well trained and always polite.

I am a 19 year old girl who visits this place regularly with no problem. Today went in with a valid form of ID and was asked to leave as my passport is two months out of date. Police told me the only reason he should have a reason to ask me to leave is if I was acting antisocially - I was wearing a three piece suit trying to order a Pepsi. Awful staff, awful service, cold food, overpriced drinks and disgustingly rude store managers. Will be contacting the newspaper about this awfully run establishment.
Sincerely, 19 year old businesswoman who is perfectly sensible and rarely consumes alcohol.

My wife & I recently visited the Furze Wren for a drink & nite to eat. We have been before & know what to expect. It was busy as always, however bar service was good, bar staff polite & pleasant. Cask ale good, wine good. Food order taken without issue, all good. Food service prompt , food tasty. All in all it’s a Wetherspoon pub, Wetherspoon prices, good Wetherspoon service.

Always Buzzing inside this Pub/Restaurant. Great Food & Choice on Menu, Superb Prices. Often difficult to find a table as so popular.
