Anyone staying in Campello Sul Clittuno should definitely visit the Carletti oil mill. Not far from the Fonti, the Carletti family has been producing a wonderful, intense oil in manageable quantities from the small but intense olives of the town for several generations. They are charming people who take a lot of time for their customers and are happy to answer any questions. Spontaneous tastings of the products are just as much a part of the process as detailed explanations of the processing processes and machines. In addition to the oil, which is freshly bottled in various sizes, the small shop also sells olive pastes, soaps, creams and other products at an absolutely fair price/performance ratio. We received the recommendation from the Campello family and are happy to pass on this recommendation.

We visited it in early July this year with my husband, we bought some oil, delicious cheese. Mr. Carletti is an EXCEPTIONAL person, an honor to speak with him. Talking about the history of his family and his horses touched me a lot, I went back to my happy childhood. I would happily return.

Excellent experience even with this our second visit which we look forward to. Again, ordered two 5 Liter containers of EVOO that have now arrived in the US. The first container has been opened and enjoying the lovely oil every day. With each usage remember the family and the complete operation of the oil production. Would go again.

Went there as part of a "foodie tour." Mr Carletti and his family meet every moment and person with a smile filling guests with knowledge of the olive oil process from picking to storing. Their oil is also among the best I have ever had and we keep a stock available always.
Their envioronmental consciousness is unequaled as well.

We went there to visit the oil mill to get a better grasp on how the oil is produced.
We came out not just with more knowledge of the process but also with a few amazing products, namely: olive oil and patè!
The owners were super-friendly - even if we went there during their lunch time - and explained us all the nitty gritty of the oil production. Of course they were proud to show us how their produce is still old fashion, with the use of millstones: this ensure that the taste and fragrance of the oil is definitely different from the industrial production. Even the olive picking is still hand made.....
I am Italian and the reason why I am writing this in English is that I want to share with the people outside our country the amazing food Italy has to offer, especially when it reaches this level!

We wanted to taste and buy some local produced olive oil, so we visited "Antonio Frantoio Carletti".
The Family was super friendly. We got to taste their products with grilled bread – and it was really delicious. We bought some oil for us and smal bottles for friends and family. The bottles have a very nice packaging.
Great experience. Great oil. Thanks a lot.

It is a bit difficult to find - our GPS pointed us to a few hundred metres away, and the building itself has few signs. But once you find it, then your education starts
It is an old family business, I think 5 generations. They make the olive oil by pressing it with giant stone wheels which come from Sicily and last for decades before needing replaced
It is an incredibly simple process. They grow all their own olives, press them and bottle them on site.
The owner, who speaks perfect English, showed us round, and gave us some olive oil on toasted bread.
Memories are made of this sort of visit.

The night before visiting the Carletti Family Olive Oil property I saw their oil in a lovely Spoleto restaurant. It just made me more excited to visit! Warm and hospitable family, great family history tied to the land, and most importantly, delicious Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

buongiorno,
ci sono degli orari di accesso per il camper? arriveremo sabato ma forse domenica potremmo andare da amici a Perugia per cena, quindi rientreremmo tardi, può essere un problema?
