First, single handicap golfer. I have played the best and toughest in Scotland, Florida, Bermuda and Ontario Canada where I’m a member at a course that has hosted LPGA events etc…I have an idea of good golf. This is not it! This course is terrible. So many blind landings for tee shots and fairways severely slope off. I lost several balls on front 9 (but only one on the back once I threw the scorecard away and didn’t give a crap any more). False fronts and elevated greens on so many holes. Unimaginative. Played with a local who guided me but doesn’t really like it there either as it’s basically handy and she didn’t hit it far enough to get it much trouble. You think you hit a good one and it’s nowhere to be found. Not fun golf, holes look the same. Not even picturesque wedged it the trees. Many houses going up with construction everywhere. Avoid especially for the bonkers fees of $160. Not worth it.

Smokers are smoking everywhere outside. the restaurant serves wings, and fish and chips..Both are not good and extremely expensive..
The nines of Brunello is a joke of a place...So glad I moved
..For the same price my view is of the ocean ..No noise from the 102 hwy..or smells from the recycle plant..Not sure how they convince ppl that this was a high end building..It's NOT...

It was a last minute decision to check out this relatively new course.

A bit pricey, especially if you're a non-resident, which will cost you an extra $50 per player. They actually cancelled our initial transaction, and then added on the extra $100 and did a secondary transaction. It would have been better if they inquired about our address prior to the transaction, but to cancel it and then charge us more just seemed desperate and greedy.

The driving range, putting green, and course were in decent shape. The Starter was more friendly and professional than those at the Pro Shop. It was a warm day and he gave us a couple bottles of water which was appreciated.

There was a group ahead of us that played slow and we were waiting on several holes as they did not let us pass them. I would recommend that they hire a Marshall.

Overall, I'm glad that we had an opportunity to play a new course, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Dont believe me?...ask anyone who just played in the 2019 national mens amateur. Im sure that it halted a few aspiring pros right in there tracks. You have to know each hole well. Winging it with no practice round will swifly turn into a trunk slammer. Try it from the blacks if you think you have game....guess what...you dont. :) I wont play anywhere else.

What a fun course to play , but difficult for our skill set.

Hidden tee shots, elevations, water hazards, small rough areas bordered by thick forest..... o lord

Was glad to card a few pars along the way

Must play course

Have now played over 1200 golf courses. Loved this one! Mr McBroom and I have not always agreed on the principles of golf course architecture but this one is a beauty. Excellent challenge off the tee and quite demanding but very playable. Probably best course in Halifax.

Excellent condition, thoughtful holes, and a demanding course. Like to play it a few times as several shots were not "what you see is what you get." Staff was very friendly and pace of play was good. More target golf than requiring you to be a bomber.

Played this and Glen Arbor and recommend Brunello. GA is a good layout (easier) but the condition of the course was bad (no sand in the cart or on par 3s to repair divots, bunkers a mess, spots all over fairways/greens)? Apparently those in the community can play for a low yearly free and treat it as "their course" - but if you are paying a private rate for public course conditions, you should pass.

It can be long and it can be target golf, but it demands every club in your bag. It offers a very nice club house with practice facility and a challenging track, but you pay dearly for it. It still has it's new smell, so enjoy it having a fully challenging golf course in the city.

Beautiful course and very well maintained as well as very friendly starters. Course is a typical links course, very unforgiving and tough but beautiful panoramic views especially back 9.

Club might want to consider offering golfers a break at the bar especially on drinks and perhaps offer more variety on food items as the bar area is very nice and outdoor patio offers a beautiful view of 18th hole. Pity the place is not busy!

All in all a pleasurable course to play .

This course is fantastic...beautifully manicured and very challenging...if your a high handicapper...say above 25 there are other options close by....i see there are some poor reviews mostly about price and service...we are talking golf here...its a great course as good as any in the province...better bring your a game though.
