About
Come aboard Chase-N-Fins, a spacious 50 foot long Navy liberty ship that has been customized for relaxing scenic tours! On the two hour tour you will enjoy beautiful views from Pensacola Bay as we cruise the calm inland waters looking for dolphins. We stop along the way to view wild dolphins playing in their natural environment. Often, the naturally curious dolphins will swim right beside the boat! Our crew is well educated about the dolphins and will be happy to tell you about the dolphins as you watch them. In addition to dolphins, you will get a unique water view of local landmarks such as Ft. Pickens, Pensacola Lighthouse, and Naval Air Station Pensacola. Bathrooms are available on the boat. We offer water bottles for sale for $1.00 a bottle, and you are welcome to bring small coolers with drinks and snacks. (no glass please!) We also offer Blue Angels cruises and private tours!

Charlie was absolutely hilarious, extremely entertaining, informative and the consummate host/guide. We learned a lot about dolphins and the area and saw LOTS of dolphins. I highly recommend booking this tour as it’s perfect for a family or couples. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Pensacola Beach. We will book again next year!

Boat was good, crew was great, we saw tons of dolphins. My wife and I said half an hour in that a 2 hour boat ride would be worth the price if we saw nothing. The multiple pods of dolphins we watched for 30-45 minutes was great. Well worth it!

I don’t normally write many reviews, but our experience was so fantastic that I had to let others know about it. If you’re wanting to do a dolphin tour in the Pensacola area, Chase-N-Fins is hands down the way to go! Despite the rain at the beginning of our cruise, we had such an amazing time. Captain Charlie made sure we were entertained the entire cruise with his dolphin jokes and fun facts. Between his commentary and the beach music playing over the speakers, the atmosphere was fun and engaging - perfect for dolphin watching. And most importantly, we got the chance to see several dolphins up close. I can’t say enough good things about this tour! We will be back!

Kids and adults had an awesome time! We saw dolphins and pelicans during feeding time, along with a mom and baby dolphin, which made the kids’ day. Captain Charlie and his crew were super informative, full of puns and dad jokes, and went out of their way to include the kids by letting them ring the bell and sit behind the steering wheel. Bring water and sunscreen.
Thank you for best afternoon!

My mother, sister-in-law and I honestly had a fantastic experience a board a chase n fins cruise. Deckhand Johnny was funny and personable, and captain Kevin found us some great dolphin viewing opportunities. It was a fun experience we would definitely do again and recommend to anyone! I will especially add, Johnny was great with the little kids. He was showing them stuff about the boat and totally captivated their attention.

We had so much fun on this Dolohin Tour! Riding on the ocean was amazing even before seeing any marine life. We saw a sea turtle, sting ray, and a whole family of dolphins that included a baby. We didnt just see them for a moment either....they interacted with the boat swimming up and turning on their side to look up and see us. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience. The guys doing the tour had a great sense of humor and gave us lots of extra information about some of the places we passed, safety when swimming, etc.. We will do this every time we come here. I rate them a 10/10.

We went on the dolphin/Blue Angel excursion and it was fantastic. Currently the Pensacola Naval Air Station is still closed to the public so visitors to the area cannot go to the Naval Aviation Museum and see the Blue Angels practice. Chase-N-Fins however had a novel idea to add a Blue Angel practice to their dolphin cruise. The cruise left port and went about 9 miles out and we were not disappointed as we were able to watch 4 dolphins feed up close. When it was time for the Blue Angels to start their practice we motored close to the base. I've seen the Blue Angels perform from land but from the water it was a different perspective as some of their runs had the planes go right over the boat. Needless to say the sound of an F18 Super Hornet going low over our boat was incredible. I highly recommend the cruise with the Blue Angel practice when available as it was well worth it.

We booked the Blue Angel's practice & dolphin cruise. Capt Charlie was awesome as our cruise director. He has a great personality. He kept us laughing at all his marine based jokes. All joking aside he was very knowledgeable about the marine life that you will see as well as everything you need to know about the Blue Angels practice show. We did see many dolphins in route to NAS along with other wild life, such as sea turtles, birds, & fish schooling.
Capt Charlie put the tour boat just off shore of the NAS and Ft Pickens to watch the Blue Angels practice. We had a great view of the show and many times the Blue Angels passed directly over head at very low altitude. Highlight of the show was the sound of Freedom. Boat was not overcrowded & $25 for the cruise can't be beat.

This is Pensacola's Best Dolphin Cruise! The staff are knowledgeable of the area, have great stores and even better jokes. They are entertaining the entire trip and can always find dolphins! Found some more dolphins at the end of the trip and stayed out a little longer so everyone could get great videos and enjoy the sunset. 100% recommend them, hands down the best ever!

We had a great time today on the 10 am cruise. We saw lots of dolphins. We also saw a couple of other dolphin boats that looked so crowded. We were thankful to be on Chase-n-fins where we had plenty of space to move around and feel the breeze. Our guide Charlie kept us entertained and made sure everyone that wanted them got group photos at the front of the boat. There was a restroom onboard, which was great because we had our 7 year old with us. Waters were available for $1, but we were allowed to bring our small cooler. Make sure you bring some cash to tip the crew! They deserve it!

Hi! My husband and I are coming to the area next month with our dogs. Are you by chance pet friendly?
Written June 30, 2020
WIth all of the people and excitement on the boat, this is not a good cruise for dogs. There are smaller boats that only take 6 people at the most that would be much better for pets.

Book in advance after Memorial day as the summer crowds are large. It was very entertaining and the dolphins were beautiful

How far in advance should we book? We will be there oct 13-17 and wasn’t sure if I should go ahead and book or wait?
Written August 23, 2018
I say wait until closer to end of Sept . Also, check their website to make sure of hours since that time of year could possibly be considered off season. I highly recommend taking a cruise with them if you get a chance. Enjoy your trip.

Do you offer a group rate ? If so what would be the price? Thanks .
Written May 22, 2017
Yes, we do have group rates. They start at 20 paying passengers, which means the kids under 5 who go for free
do not count in the 20, since they go for free anyhow.
The break down is: 20+ passengers get $2 off each ticket;
30+ get $3 off each ticket and 40+ get &5 off each ticket.
